It looks like his sample was completely mismanaged.

Because he purposely spilled it on the floor, perhaps?

I read that the handler dropped it. Then when he furnished the next sample it was to diluted for a good sample. They should have had him wait and give another sample that is testable.

It was reported yesterday that he purposely dropped it, told them he wasn't giving another sample because he was late for practice, heavily drank water during practice, and turned in a diluted sample after practice. Considering his apology, I believe what was reported Tuesday.
