He also returned four punts for 53 yards.Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun first reported the Ravens were re-signing Doss.The Ravens parted ways with Doss, a 2011 fourth-round pick, on August 31.With Jones out, Torrey Smith, Brandon Stokley and Marlon Brown look to be the Ravens’ top three options at wide receiver for the time being. Throw in he already knows the offense and these reasons are why we brought back Doss and not a vet. Doss didn't play terrible in the preseason, just had some mental lapses. As our five receiver, he's a good option if someone goes down like on Thursday. Quote

As our five receiver, he's a good option if someone goes down like on Thursday.All true TC, but a great big YAWN is what this move calls for....I like Marlon Brown as our #2 wr and Stokley has the #3 spot so ST is all he will be used for..As soon as Melette and Thompson are back he's dropping 2 more spots down the chain....TE, we need a TE that can catch, enough with the wr's already !! Marginal in the pass game but really quite good as a returner. He impressed the hell out of me. That was one game and now that there is tape of him they may figure him out. He is not super fast like Jones but he was quite good. Quote
