If ever there was a time for Cam to call the perfect game then today's the day.

The Ravens have to keep Manning off the field.

They have to start fast, slow the pass rush and put up 7's.

There's other ways to win but I don't see them.

Does Cam have it in him?

Not sure why, but I feel it. He tried whipping it deep last week, and the Browns just kept two back all game long (why that wasn't taken advantage of, I'll never know). I think the Colts are more disciplined and less risky than that, and that Joe should have an excellent game.

This isn't the Colts defense of old, though. Running it down their throats is something that WON'T work this week. Manning doesn't need time to score, as he proved last week and earlier against Miami. It's useless to try taking time from him, so the best thing to do is play his game. I think we can do that.

I guess you are rigth Force. All that talk about a more balanced offense better help us in the next two weeks, at least this is what I hope. So just maybe we will gain more rushing yards, not because we will have that many attemps.. more because Rice and the Macs maybe Clayton and Flacco too will have some few but long rushes.

If we finally start strong and lead, this migth change, still Cam needs to be agressive and has to mix the runninggame with passes short, to TEs and deep. And hopefully we will see some more weapons, what about two TEs, so give me some LJ Smith and if they will test DW too I wont blame them.

And somehow I still feel that this team is build to november, december football. Our OL is young and strong, they have had a lot of penalties so fare, leading I believe.. time to reduce the obvious stupid ones from Flacco, Oher and others and probably more gametime with Birk will help too. And our DLers and RBs is probably used less than most team at this point.

Our secondary needs to step up big time - and I believe just like the OL they will be better with more games together.. I reeeeeeeally think less experience has been a factor so fare.

The gameplan was there, it all came down to that series of plays on the goaline. We needed that TD...

When Mason goes out at the 1 and doesn't make the TD I knew it probably cost the Ravens the game.

They weren't going to score TD's today. They were too busy trying to get Cundiff in the Ravens record book.

I am most angry about running that counter to McGahee on third-and-goal. Who runs a counter on the goaline? The defenders are shooting the gaps in these situations, a countered is doomed from the start. We have a 265-pound horse for a fullback, give him the ball! Or at least try the QB sneak again.

Birk and the 2 guards are not getting the push....the box was totally loaded and tight...if Flacco fakes the hand off and keeps the ball he could have walked in around the end.

Or...

Spread them out...go 3 wide and pound McLain up the gut. He'll get that yard 9 out of 10 times.

Agreed. I guess hindsight is 20-20 though.

Cam's gameplan was fine...it comes down to execution with this team. Team loaded with talent, capable of getting to SB, but we don't execute you become a .500 team.

Oher costly fall start making 3rd down conversion difficult, chester getting blown up on 3rd and inches in first half, not being able to get yd from 1 yd line, mason dropping a big gainer, flacco throwing pick, missed kick (which to me isn't on cundiff, that kick was rushed by right side not blocking and bad snap), etc.

We got the right people in the right seats, but the damn bus won't start.
