BeenAround Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 ...“There is no need for any micro-fracture surgery at this point,” General Manager Ozzie Newsome simply stated late Friday night when asked about the newest Raven...“I think we have probably one of the most conservative medical staffs in the League,” Newsome explained. “And there are a lot of players that have gotten drafted today and yesterday that we couldn’t have drafted. When they give us a medical grade, they are in the 98 and 99 percentile.” Link Quote
thundercleetz Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 What scares me is that they say "at this point." To me it seems like this knee is a ticking time bomb. Luckily, microfracture surgery is a lot more advanced than it was five years ago. It is something that could probably be taken care of over an offseason. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 If you get 4-5 really good yrs out of him then you made out. If he falls apart after that that is his problem. Quote
