vmax Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Just killing time looking for other perspectives of the Ravens outside of Baltimore reports..... Will the Ravens stay winners in the playoffs? They took one year off with John Harbaugh and Joe Flacco, and got right back into it, pushing the Patriots to the brink. They deserve more AFC contender love. Will Flacco and Marc Trestman be the passing guru-big arm duo everyone thinks it will be? A lot of that depends on the remixed receivers, but it’s looking good. Will Justin Forsett keep letting them forget about Ray Rice? They didn’t expect Forsett to solve their entire backfield, but they rewarded him with the money to think he can do it again. Can we consider their defense near-dominant again? They were an easy top-10 unit all-around last season, on their way back to the top five. That’s how they really can win a championship.http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/50-answers-we-cant-wait-to-get-on-the-road-to-super-bowl-50/ar-AAdkNJz?ocid=iehp#page=5 Quote
vmax Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 Posted on July 22, 2015 by Joe Platania ROOKIES CHECKING IN; BALTIMORE IS ONE OF NFL'S FIRST TO GET TO WORKWhen it comes to the start of training camp, the Ravens have one foot squarely in the past and another in the present. Before head coach John Harbaugh took the team's reins in 2008, the team did not utilize the age-old practice of having the rookies report first. But Harbaugh's old-fashioned work ethic has turned back the clock in many ways.On July 22, the Ravens' first-year players will report to camp alone, followed by quarterbacks and injured veterans during the next few days before the roster's remainder checks in July 29.http://www.pressboxonline.com/2015/07/22/ravens-using-old-new-approach-to-start-training-camp Quote

TBird Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 (edited) Just killing time looking for other perspectives of the Ravens outside of Baltimore reports..... That's the way it was back in the 50s and 60s until Irsay came in the70s and immediately shopped the team around the country. Only thing wasColts fans never went to pre-season games. They knew the difference. Then Irsay tacked the pre-season games on to the season ticket packageso he got his money up front regardless but fans dropped their plans then. Batimore broke and held all attendance records during that time before Irsay. Edited July 23, 2015 by TBird Quote
