I would like to say I knew the winner Graeme McDowell better but we did grow up in the same small town and he was a few years ahead of me in school. His brother was the same year as me and was also a good golfer back then. It's great to have another major winner from N.Ireland after such a long wait since Fred Daly won the Open way back before my time. Quote
