Harris was part of a three-man tryout for the Ravens two weeks ago, along with safety Ken Hamlin, who signed with the Ravens on Monday, and fellow corner Ken Lucas. The Ravens must have really liked what they saw to negotiate with Harris to get him signed as opposed to a take-it or -leave-it offer.
