vmax Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Rex learned it from Billick. It's the same as the 2000 Ravens. On Defense:Use a suffocating defense to keep the score low.Stop the Run.Get after Flacco. Blitz, pressure, hurry to force the turnover.Get off the field on 3rd down (they were great at that last year) to help win the field position and time of possesion battle. On Offense:Run the Football and get 2-3 big plays from Sanchez. Limit his throws to safe ones.Avoid the costly turnover. Punting is good. Finally, Walk around all proud and cocky like "We're really bad Mo-Fo's" because that will really scare and intimidate guys like the Ravens. Quote

Don't commit penalties (I'm talking to you Oniel Cousins) and we'll have too many weapons to be stopped on 3rd and short. I'll take Ray Rice out of the backfield or Housh against Kyle Wilson all day for a 3rd down conversion. Quote
