vmax
It's like this... Yea...the Ravens under Harbaugh have won 3 playoff games and that really is great. I don't want to downplay or overlook that. The problem is they have not been able to win the very important games against some major teams who have blocked their road to success. The Steelers, Bengals, Colts and Patriots (until last years playoff game) to be exact. They find ways to lose and self destruct against those teams. Until they can win some big games like today, where a lot is at stake, they will never take that next step to being an Elite Team. They keep comming to this fork in the road and fail. Today is a great opportunity to get that monkey off their backs. Edited October 3, 2010 by vmax

We especially need to beat these teams when we outplay them. That's the worst part about it, it seems that in these games, victory is usually up for grabs towards the end and we almost always find a way to lose. No excuses, don't let it be close enough for the refs to screw us today. Control the game and scoreboard from the first quarter Ravens! vmax
Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens took that step today! 1 minute left...dowqn by 4....and it's a textbook, comeback game winning drive.

vmax
Thanks OTR. Huge swing today between being 2-2 with 2 'in division' losses and the Stealers being 4-0. The Ravens would be playing catch up all season long...and the Stealers have a weak schedule as usual. Even though it's weeek 4 this was a must win game for the Ravens....on a few levels. A loss in September/October hurts just as much as a loss in December if it keeps you out of the playoffs. The Ravens need to win the division and get a week 1 bye to get to the Super Bowl IMO. So this game was a must for that senario to have a chance of playing out.
