I like the 2 Div per conf idea. That gives you 14 games home and away. Add in the teams that finished the prev yr in the same position as you in both Divs of the other Conf. That gives you 16 games. You would only play 2 out of Conf games. When/if they go to 18 games you get the team in the other Div that finished in the same spot and I personally would like a regional rival added.
