bmw800
With the win today, its fairly certain that we're going to make the playoffs. We would just have to win 1 of our final 2 to clinch. Here's the problem, and why I REALLY hope the Steelers lose twice: As it stands now, we'd open the playoffs in Indy. NOT who I want to play. vmax
So we're pulling for the Yets and Brownies to beat the Stealers. Yea...I saw the Jags choking...
vmax
Sanchez just faked the Stealer D out of their jocks.
vmax
Safety! Hey! The Yets might pull it off. We keep the pressure on Pittsburgh this way," coach John Harbaugh said. "We're still trying to win the division. They have the edge because they beat us, but we're not conceding that just yet."
vmax
OK...the Steelers lost. What's this mean? If the Steelers lose to the Brownies and the Ravens win out then we win the division?
bmw800
Pretty much. The records are now tied, and there is now no conceivable way that a tiebreaker can break for the Ravens. So, we need to win out and the Steelersa need to lose one (doesn't matter who its against, but Browns is obviously more likely). In terms of winning the division, the Ravens winning the game today actually didn't mean very much standings-wise, except for the fact that the loss doesn't HAVE to come against the Browns.
