NFL team Web sites could be affected by lockout

The NFL will hold a conference call with all the Internet staffs for all 32 teams to discuss rules and regulations on how to cover the team during a potential lockout, according to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports.com.

The report says that one team is planning to remove players' pictures from its Web site, and other teams expect interviews and quotes to be banned.

The call is also expected to discuss plans for the draft, where a prospect likely would become banned once he is selected in April.

Operating the team Web sites as per usual could lead to the NFLPA making claims that the teams are wrongfully using player images to market the team.

The way we see it

This is another sign that the NFL is fully prepared for a lockout. If it does happen, the football world will continue to be affected in ways not initially thought of, such as this.
