Ravenmaniac52 Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 -- Jets Likely Eyeing Two Ravens DBs -- The Star Ledger reports Ravens S Jim Leonhard and CB Corey Ivy, both unrestricted free agents, are likely on the Jets' wish list in free agency, especially with the Jets finishing 29th in the NFL in pass defense this past season. I say let Ivy go ... but Leonhard is a must keep. Quote
thundercleetz Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Leonhard to the Jets makes a lot of sense. He would fit in very well to another ballhawking safety in Kerry Rhodes, and of course, Rex is going to be a draw for him. I am guessing that Leonhard is going to be difficult to retain. Quote

The Jets are tight on the CAP right? Leonard has been outspoken on how much he likes it here....it's not just Rex...it's the team and organization. The Ravens want him. I think he stays. Quote

I'm sure he's grown just as fond of Ed Reed and Ray Lewis as he has of Rex Ryan. Same goes for all of our defenders. Quote
