S Mark Barron Alabama Sr. 6-2 218 The Ravens could jump on Konz given Matt Birk's advanced years and Ben Grubbs' departure to New Orleans, but I can't imagine they'd think twice if Barron falls all the way to No. 29. The loss of safety Tom Zbikowski to the Colts in free agency only makes the case for Barron even stronger.

I don't see how the loss of two backup safeties means you go out and draft a new safety in the first round.

 

Unless Reed is about to hang it up, I don't see it. And even if he is, with great CB play, I don't think FS is essential although nice.

There are guys later in the draft I like. The kid from Boise St. Martin at OSU. Jackson at McNeese St could be a huge steal. Why use a first rounder?

Only makes sense to use a first rounder if he's a game changer in the mold of Reed. Is that the case?

 

I really really really hope the Ravens have the opportunity to jump on Konz.
