Obj is cleared, BeastDrews may sit out, not bad when you have the depth at that position.. Let's get ready to rumble! I bought some more Ravens gear today, couldn't resist, had Kolhs cash to spend
-
Well, T minus 23 hours and change until we take off, we shall see!
-
Not me, too pricy and not sure my back could handle it

Them, the primo wide outs, offensive tackles, linebackers and corners. If a team gets one of each, they are set. Sure, they will take up almost half of the team's cap, but that makes drafting and developing all the more important

Well, Joe has taken the top rank https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38348975/qb-joe-burrow-agrees-record-five-year-275m-extension-bengals-sources-say Joe Burrow reached an agreement on a five-year, $275 million extension with the team that includes $219.01 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid player in NFL history, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Thursday. The contract averages $55 million per year. The deal ends months of negotiations and rewards a player who has flipped Cincinnati's fortunes.

You out there bro? Did you go over to the dark side like some of the other regulars? Hope all is well buddy
-
Yeah the uncertainty of Lamar's contract made this offseason feel longer than usual. The offensive line is healthy and all but intact from last year, that should be a plus. Now can they run the ball effectively? Will they give Lamar time? Will he and the receivers be on the same page? I agree, this should be a 15 + point win, but there are too many unknowns, so we should just sit back & enjoy.

i am so happy we are in the east

I laugh at the talking heads who say the kids will adjust. Has the NFL adjusted when a west coast team comes east for a 1 pm game? Nope Neither will Stanford swimmers who have meets scheduled at 10 am on a Tuesday on the east coast... -
I think it says both, that Huntley is healthy and that they need a corner for insurance
-
Brown let go, again...Hayes, a corner, brought back

And you were saying.... This has gotten way out of hand. The Atlantic Coast conference is for schools on the right coast. Not schools on the left coast.... feel bad for the other sports teams at the schools, cross country trip twice a week? Stupid, Stupidity stupid -
Hmph, it was my understanding that if ir before the season they would be out for the season. If after the season starts then they can come off.. As for Huntley, it is a hamstring, they can be tricky
-
I believe after the first game of the season

A little levity from the team dinner.. https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2023/8/31/23853781/zay-flowers-trenton-simpson-rap-at-ravens-team-dinner

Yeah, he just couldn't adjust to the NFL game fast enough. Maybe a change of scenery will help him..... he still could end of back here, if he can't stay on the Hawks 53

Per BR, the ps as it stands now QB Anthony Brown; RB Owen Wright; FB/TE Ben Mason; WRs Sean Ryan, Laquon Treadwell; TE Travis Vokolek; OL Tashawn Manning, TyKeem Doss; DL Rayshad Nichols; OLB Jeremiah Moon; ILB Josh Ross; DB Jeremy Lucien

Mekari is going to be the Leatherman of lineman I guess. Urban, a human field goal blocker, I was a bit surprised there, keeping only 2 qbs, granted one will be added to the ps squad. Ross got released, I hope he lands on the ps squad, he proved last year, prior to injury, that he can play.
-
Proche gone as well, Treadwell to the ps squad
-
Well, Gordon let go...

Cuts so far https://www.si.com/nfl/ravens/news/baltimore-ravens-training-camp-roster-cuts-tracker

Yep, Tuesday is cut down day, so it should be fun, get the pizza ready

I think Huntley sitting was more to do with getting a better look at JJ and Brown to settle who would be #3. Yeah, no big deal on the defense, aside from the lack of containment on either end. The secondary is going to look very different come opening day. Mitchell I know was nursing a shoulder, plus they likely didn't want to expose him too much more to the league to dry and pass him through waivers, stash him on the practice squad. I would be shocked if they kept him on the active roster over Gordon or that they will keep 5 runningbacks. He showed decent skills in the 2 fake games against second and third stringers, plus what he has done in practice, but he was not asked to pick up a blitz either... I still have not found much info on Josh Ross, lis franc last year, how he has recovered. If he is healthy, he was clearly much better than anyone at inside backer not named Agent 0 or his side kick Queen.

Eek, far too easy, no fight in this defense, 12 plays, 94 yards, touchdown, wide open...
-
When you lunge for a pass and miss, big gain
-
Ouch, wide open, thankfully it was over thrown
