  1. If is the biggest word in the dictionary, but yep, all indications are that he can place the ball. Oh and be very consistent with punts, something our last punter was not
  2. New deal reached, no replacements, ole, ole ole, Ole, oo le Sources: NFLRA schedules vote to ratify new CBA with NFL - ESPN https://share.google/PcqPiAzht3eiO8vYW
  3. https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/ryan-eckley-sam-koch-ravens-rookie-punter-nfl-draft-2026 Ryan Eckley was drafted to replace departed Pro Bowl punter Jordan Stout, but the Ravens see him being more closely aligned with Stout's predecessor. Sam Koch punted in Baltimore for 16 seasons and a franchise record 256 games. He's a legend who changed the game forever. A sixth-round pick just like Koch was in 2006, Eckley is looking to carry on the Ravens' punting prowess, and Senior Special Teams Coach Randy Brown see shades of Koch in Eckley's game. "Ryan is more of a shot maker," Brown said. "Jordan was more of a home run hitter, then turned into a shot maker with his pooches and with his boomerangs. "Ryan doesn't have the Sam Koch qualities from '06 to, let's say, '13, when Sam was more of just a directional turnover guy. It's more of the Sam Koch towards the end of his career." Even though Koch was a revolutionary in the sport, he only made one Pro Bowl. The guys with big-time power and long hang times often get the attention. But the fact was, Koch made life hard on returners with his wide range of punts. That's what the Ravens expect from Eckley, who led the FBS in punting average at 48.5 yards in 2025. Eckley gives the Ravens a bunch of different "shots" they can call and hit, which Brown loves because he calls the game the way a catcher does for a pitcher. "We try to put the ball where the returner isn't," Brown said. "We try to put the ball where the returner's not expecting it.
  4. I don't have much faith in Issac, he should have shown some sign of improvement, even with the injuries. But he has not and when you factor in he just hasn't been able to stay healthy, his time is coming to move on
  5. Clowney would be my choice, he still has one more season in him, unlike Bosa. In this rotation l, opposite Hendrickson, he would be a nice force
  6. Nutz, to make room for Cambell and another qb, the Ravens cut me, err um offensive tackle Trevonte Sylvester..... maybe they will pick him back up....
  7. Yeah, it has never been a big thing in the NFL, more so an unwritten rule not to use "'s of past greats on the team. Unlike other sports where it is really big. While some other NFL teams, Giants, & Bears come to mind, (they have the most according to Google) have retired numbers, they have been few. "Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Baltimore Ravens don't have any" Side note, "Reggie White is the only player to have his number retired by two teams: the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers."
  8. No, however, they do not reuse some numbers, unofficially retiring them. The numbers for Johnny U (19), Ray (52), Ed, (20) JO, (75) T Sizzle, (55)
  9. That's how I hear his comments on being "the loudest". I also want them to make Ravens home games once again a nightmare for other teams. https://youtu.be/zo-4oiRC9K4?si=nXH3ApWN9D1RZISF
  10. Here here, i guess we're just too old my friend

  12. If Young can keep his nose clean off of the field, he has a chance to be a monster in Minter's defenses, learning from him, Cambell, Hendrickson.
  13. I had tried to embed it, but the Ravens website did not allow it.mm Any who, it is Minter's presser after thr 1st camp

  16. Solid and very willing tackler too, gonna be a special-teams ace at the least, likely a slot corner as well
  17. Another name to keep an eye on, Chandler Rivers https://youtu.be/RUESdF0Y0M0?si=k6BKL2TFc2yr5iPM
  18. They chose a number of guys with never quit motors this time around, nice to see.

  20. Getting closer to my favorite time of year!
  21. Yes, more reasonable players
  22. Even more have signed Per NBC The Ravens have signed almost all of their draft picks ahead of Friday’s start to their rookie minicamp. A flurry of signings on Thursday left them with nine of their 11 picks under contract, including third-round pick Ja’Kobi Lane. The wideout had 49 catches for 745 yards and four touchdowns during his final season at USC. The Ravens also signed fifth-round cornerback Chandler Rivers and sixth-round punter Ryan Eckley in their final wave of agreements. First-round guard Vega Ioane, fourth-round wide receiver Elijah Sarratt, fourth-round tight end Matt Hibner, fifth-round tight end Josh Cuevas, fifth-round running back Adam Randall, and seventh-round offensive lineman Evan Beerntsen are the other picks who have signed their four-year deals. Second-round edge rusher Zion Young and seventh-round defensive tackle Rayshaun Benny are the only unsigned members of the class.
  23. It usually happens with the 1st rounders who want language changes in their contracts, whether fully guaranteed, or work out bonuses. There is a certain point where they have to be signed to practice, training camp, of course, who would practice without getting paid, especially with the risk of injury.
  24. I cant see any of the others being an issue to sign. Keep rolling
  25. Loane signed, that was fast, per NBC The team announced the signing of guard Vega Ioane to a four-year contract on Thursday afternoon. Ioane was the 14th overall pick and he will receive a fully guaranteed $24.2 million with a signing bonus of just over $14 million.
