  1. Yep, he tried to make this all about winning, even made it public that the owner would not talk to him. You know that your team is capped strapped and will be for years to come because of the albatross at quarterback, yet you hold out for more money
  2. No way Stanley moves to the right, unless you are right
  3. Hmm, I know they are losing faith in Metchie, Diggs, while injured and aging quickly is a free agent and Dell can't stay healthy, still on a cheap contract. Nice fit there
  4. SeaHawks lowered the asking price for DK, from a 1st and 3rd to a 2nd rounder. He says he wants to play for a contender and in a warm environment. Not many places that fit that description, Miami is warm, and i guess a contender but do they need DK? Nope Mini? Do they even have a qb, I know cold environment but in a dome Dallas? Contender Ravens could I guess use him but at 30 mil a year that he wants, we are certainly warmer than Seattle in the winter Chargers are possible I suppose but they are a run first team, they are a warm weather team and playoff capable, with cap space, but, they are the Chargers
  5. Wowza, The Cleveland Browns and Myles Garrett have agreed on a contract extension that averages $40 million per year and includes $123.5 million in guaranteed money, making the star defensive end the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, sources told ESPN The Browns announced the four-year extension, which runs through the 2030 season, on Sunday but did not disclose financial terms. The contract includes a no-trade clause and ties Garrett to the Browns through the 2030 season, according to sources, meaning the four-time All-Pro's path from "Cleveland to Canton" is back on. Lynn and Berry worked together over the past 36 hours to cement the deal.
  6. Right, draft a right tackle, let him learn, fill in when needed, then slowly move him into the starting roll as he gains NFL strength. Then move Rose over. It is depth. There is a reason multiple teams were salivating waiting for free agency to start with Stanley not under contract. He took a little less than the other teams were reportedly offering, the Ravens gave him a little more than they initially offered. Win-Win
  7. Outstanding, fair deal for both
  8. 2 years perhaps, maybe a 3rd but enough to lover the # while ya groom a young one
  9. Yeah, he can get them 6-8 wins, at $31 mil, I'm sure they will extend him to lower that number
  10. For a 3rd round pick, per Espn
  11. Wrong one
  12. Bengals have the cap space to fit him, Higgins and Chase, as bad as that defense was/is, why get rid of your best defensive player? Yeah, he and Hutch, whenever he returns, would be a real nice pair
  13. Bengals give Hendricks permission to seek a trade. Another top pass rusher likely out of the division. Would love to have him on the team, but no way they trade with the Ravens.
  14. Chargers just released Bosa, save a ton on the cap to get rid of an often injured player. Should be interesting to see where he goes.
  15. Hey, I know Rose can do it, may take a few games, let's hope it isnt the games where teams have a very good pass rusher. Hey if Stanley wants to move on for a bug pay day, goom bye, it's understandable. But ya still should try and land him. Without him and if they can't get Mekari back, now you have no depth
  16. True, a right tackle is "not hard to find". But moving from left to right or vice versa, does take time. Add to that maybe changing a guard and now you have essentially 3 new linemen to try to gell together in this system. Sign Stanley, if he will take the middle ground from top pay to team friendly, draft a right tackle who can get a year of NFL training, strength, and, take spot duty when needed to learn the system in game. Then, at least you are not caught too off guard if or when an injury to either tackle happens
  17. 2 year extension makes him the highest paid rb. Lowers his cap hit this year, but eventually you have to pay the piper https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/saquon-barkley-contract-extension-highest-paid-rbs-in-nfl-after-eagles-star-resets-market-for-position/ becoming the highest-paid player for his position in NFL history. Barkley signed a two-year contract extension worth $41.2 million, as he becomes the first running back to make $20+ million a year.
  18. 11 picks at the least, draft deep in the positions the Ravens need, go get what this team needs, to poop with over or under drafting, get them, don't take chances If Stanley stays healthy the rookie right tackle can sit and learn
  19. To reach an extension in the next week or so, we shall see, I hope so. Also of note, the Bengals have released one of their guard, Cappa, and expect to not resign their other one Ford, so there will be plenty of guards to help this team find one for depth.
  20. Me neither, it's not broken bones nor ligaments but hamstring, soft tissue issues.
  21. Ouch, that is a cheap price. But the 9ers are eating a ton of dead money. 1 year left on his deal at 17.5 mil for a player who has missed parts of or all of a lot games the past few years. if healthy, he will be a nice addition and surely extended to lower that cap #. If healthy, he would have flourished in the Ravens system, but that is a big IF
  22. Cap officially set at $279.2 million
  23. Abdul Carter, self proclaimed best player in the draft, now might need foot surgery for a stress fracture, ontop of a shoulder injury he is currently trying to recover from. They are deciding between surgery, a screw, or letting it heal on its own; either way, 8 weeks down time. He might work out at his pro day. Another PSU pass rusher hurt before the draft, perfect for Eric to draft in the 1st round
  24. The team has been to playoffs, been the #1 seed, won the division, had the best defense and offense in the league, yet lost in the playoffs because, largely, of turnovers. Not sure turnovers are on Harbs, not sure how that much success is on the coach holding them back.
