  1. There is little doubt in my mind Cam needs to go. Last week, with a lack luster team, he should have gone to a no huddle just to wake them up. This week, same thing, only he does it when the cards are playing prevent. Only in week one did he use crossing routes, stacked sets; none since then. ruoutes are called witha running back running a wheel route to the same side a receiver is doing a stop & go = easy coverage for the secondary. This is pathetic offensive play calling / scheme.

They are not helping the line out with these routes...... and Joe is clearly shell shock, has been since that stupid Rams game where he threw what 50 times? nd yes, he threw for a ton of yards but he also got knocked around quite well. Add to that the team has not run the ball consistantly all year. Don't give me the crap about 170 yards against the Steelers, or a 140 here or there. Those were done on largely two long runs each game. They suck at driving the ball especially on 2nd & 3rd & short. You can blame the line for some, not all, this coaching staff sucks; top to bottom.

This is one of the only teams I have seen, and it goes back to when Billick was here, where a high anckle sprain keeps a player out for six week or more. The training staff, the same as under Billick, sucks. / rant.......... :mask:

  2. Oh an I really hate Fox having the game. Their anouncers suck and there is a commercial after every change of posession, even after a score and then following a kick off............. Oh nice tackling Ravens..................................................................

  3. To quote D Green: "They are who we thought they were" not very good. Flacco is shell shock, the offensive line still cannot run block, conistantly. Utilizing two rookie, under developed receivers really hurts and Cam does suck with play calling. Since game 1, no use of the tight ends for some reason. If they get through this game with a win, and I doubt it, the Squeelers are going to kill em.

  4. Going 3 wide with them would be very scary. Torrry is playing so much better than I expected for this season.

I agree, I honestly thought he was a wasted pick, no hands at all and couldn't run a route,. Even going into the season, after limited camps, he still had no hands and was terrible with his routes. After that 3 td performance he seems to have gotten confidence, as Joe said and looks like he will turn into a solid pro.

  5. Yep, looks like they will win, but the dream team looks to drop another one........... As much as Vick complained about taking extra hits and not getting the call........ His line gets away with more holding calls than any other, and never gets called...........

  6. These are very comfy, I have four of them,. My late wife baught them a while back from one of the local Ravens stores, not sure which one. I wil let them go seperately, in pairs or all four. $20 per, two for $25, all four $45.

Sure the offensive line has trouble protecting Joe explode.gif

And yes, it is only four games into the season, but we don't need to see anyone Lucy20van20Pelt20psychiatric20help.jpg

  9. what crav said. this was clear back in April with their draft choices and again when they traded for Evans. Flacco has the arm and normally the accuracy. people forget his carrer completion % is over 60. Now it's a matter of proper timing with the deep threats. Smith didnt run full speed on the first 9 route, which threw Joe off, leading to the ball being over thrown by what, two yards, maybe three.... He was open too........ On the other one down the middle, Joe was just off target because he was having a bad game. Check Brady, he too has games where his completion % is sub or near 50.... It happens sometimes, these guys are human....

I like it, just not when it is clear Joe is off, against top pass defenses, when the lead is 17 or more and your best deep threat is injured..... Cam screwed the pooch not exploiting the lb's of the Jets with the te's as he did earlier in the game. There is nothing wrong with deep crossing routes, Cam just got away from them................

  10. Welcome back TS, Im happy as all, it so reminds me of 2000-2001 and as long as we have the same results, it dosent matter what Joe does...The only thing he did that I didnt like was the pick 6..

Even that pick-six was not all his fault. He thought Rice would continue running, instead, Rice sat down between the backers; miscommunication. Joe started short stepping because of the rush, which lead to high throws, but it was clear after the first quarter, he was shaken and should not have passed as often. As I said in the game thread, 27 attempts in the first half when you are up by 20 is insane, especially when your team has yet this season, to establish a true running game.

They are going to need that running game against the Texans to keep that offense off the field. They stand no chance of getting into a shoot out with Shaub and the Ravens secondary.
