  1. Stroud throws a better deep ball, right now, time will tell if Lamar ever gets more accurate on those deep throws. But, Lamar is clearly a better scrambler, runner, which for me, puts him over CJ. Shoot, 2 MVP's, that says it all. If he were old like Rogers, I could see it, but he isn't much older than Stroud and he just won his 2nd one.
  2. Watch for him in preseason, at 6-6, 315, maybe he emerges at the right tackle.... https://ravenswire.usatoday.com/2024/05/06/julian-pearl-could-be-the-steal-of-ravens-udfa-class/
  3. Cj has to prove he is more than a one hit wonder
  4. I'm not big on rankings, but I am bored so I gave it a read. Pretty good, but Stroud over Lamar? https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2024-nfl-qb-power-rankings-brock-purdy-jordan-love-crack-top-10-in-first-post-draft-pecking-order/
  5. Lamar says he has lost a lot of weight, down to 205, he should be back to his quickster self. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10120245-ravens-lamar-jackson-says-hes-lost-25-pounds-since-2022-season-down-to-205 I hope so, he did look a little slow last year, whether that was weight or him not wanting to risk injury by putting the pedal to the floor..
  6. From January https://youtu.be/rYJ45Mf6v4Q?si=galBOrljZpXbEyPn
  7. Back in the day, I was part of an interview with Matt Katula, Ravens long snapper for a few years. He was considered at the time, the best in accuracy and speed back to the punter/holder coming out of college. Now me being a former long snapper on special teams, I was pumped to interview him. I asked what was the hardest part, as being #1, coming into the NFL for him. This interview was during training camp that year. He said, short version, the types of strengthening to get more speed on his snaps. Ott clearly has a ways to go if he beats out Moore, should be interesting
  8. Not like him though, he was a first round talent before the injury.
  9. I don't watch a lot of pod casts, but this one had a portion of an interview Todd did, they used a questionnhe was asked about Lamar in the redzone. His answer was excellent https://www.youtube.com/live/RcYJs_B2kYs?si=SagCmxjPiuh-3Q3b
  10. Great question, I just hope that they get it fixed, we often overlook the long snapper, the speed and accuracy of the ball going back can mean the difference between a successful kick or a blocked one
  11. The days go bye bye faster the younger we get!
  12. Good move, while he has been solid, 3 straight 1,000 yard seasons, Warren has also shown he is an excellent back. The 5th year option was set to be roughly $6mil, they want a prove it year in the new offense to see which back gets a long term deal. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/steelers-make-surprising-decision-najee-harris-future
  13. It's a good start, get em signed early from NFL DOT COM They also got a roster exemption for Ojoba, they can carry 91 players now through the summer.
  14. Yep, Houston will be the media darling unless or until they falter, the media will hoist them up as if what they will do has never been done in the history of the word..
  15. Houston has to prove that they aren't a one hit wonder, can they play that well again? Cincy has to prove it can stay healthy, jeepers, when they can they are a top team, but as they say, availability is the best ability. But Lamar vs Patrick is always a thrilling game and money grab for the league & networks
  16. Yeah, that would be their revenge game to exploit
  17. I hope not, I hope they get a home game that week end, so they can rest a bit, and begin the playoff push. I will add, I think now more than ever with the added game/s, the bye week is huge. Later is better than earlier...
  18. Well we still need a return man, punts and kickoffs, Hardy is an option but either of the receivers could give him a run for his money. Special teams was a weak spot last year, blocked kicks, big returns. Sure they got a bit better later in the year, but with all of the loses, these new recruits may make up the team.
  19. Yeah, mostly because of injury, some because of alcohol.
  20. Don't sleep on Tayvion Robinson, dude can make most any catch. While he won't run away from a lot of people, he can get open and make the circus catch when needed. Nice pick up
  21. I get it, they know more than we do, but my goodness, make him prove it, don't reward him to prove that you believe in him... Eric has made some great moves, but this one....
  22. Workouts: Week 1: May 20, May 22-23 Week 2: May 28, May 30-31 Week 3: June 3-4, June 6-7 Mandatory Minicamp: June 11-13
  23. Hmm, I don't care what the win rate stats garbage says, just watch the fricken tape; he ain't worth $13 mil. I sincerely hope he proves me wrong and gets 15 sacks this season, but I doubt it..
  24. I think he just got lost in the shuffle, a few runs of different positions, he was what, thought of as a 5th rounder? Just got lost, Ravens will be happy. At the least, a special teams player, maybe good depth at safety
  25. Too soon to really grade them, but on the surface, I would say a solid B+, maybe even an A, they landed two players the had rated high on their boards and who also filled a need. They should be great rotstional players to start, and be solid starters shortly. If they get the receiver to be a quality 3rd or 4th, as I suspsect, then yeah, A+. Of the street free agents, again too early, some may change their minds, sign elsewhere. But the Ravens are excellent at finding a Dimond in the rough or two. Some will fill out special teams, given how many players the Ravens lost to free agency. One maybe two, a runningback & or defensive player is likely to stick. Someone like Jamion Franklin, dt, 6'-2", 309, could stick as a rotational defensive tackle.
