I think that says more about the FO and coaching staff looking at the talent available to them than it does about Forsett. Then it gets to the group think of the FO's that dismissed him on reputation. I am with Crav and saying the Ravens can find his replacement via the draft. I liked the description of the Yal RB in the Sau.
Well then he should have made that call and gone all the way with it. It is like Cam making Mason, Housh, and Q run a Coriel offense. They are not in the ingredients to make that work.
Then Harbs shoudl have said thx but no thanks to Caldwell. We aren't running your offensive system. Don't mix and match to the detriment to the on field performance.
Forsett was good. I don't know that he will not have nearly the success next yr. He is 30 and RB's are normally breaking down by then. The Ravens can't put all their eggs in his basket. The Ravens can find his replacement very easily. Because he knows these things as fact until they turn out untrue.
Juan was hired as run game coordinator. He was meddling in 2013. He is the one variable that made the run game putrid. He started pushing ZBS on a Caldwell offense that looked like it didn't need it.
No I just see where you can find a RB easily. Foster, Charles, Morris, and so many more undrafted or dratfed very low and they have been some of the best in the league.
The 2010 GB team ran with Brandon Jackson and 703 yds. NE with Kevin Faulk. The 96 Packers didn't have a steady running game. It isn't 100% needed. RB's can be had cheap and young and perform well.
