It is now time to talk about the draft
papasmurfbell replied to tsylvester's topic in Baltimore Ravens
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryBOWI0eNbk I don't like highlights. Even marginal guys can look good when they play against a bad DB or something. He is a load with the ball in his hands. A few things I don't like. He looks like a lazy blocker. His hands don't look great. He is not a dynamic runner. I don't think he can play on the outside. I think he has to bulk up and play TE. -
I read 3.25.

A good point was brought up. No Kubes be careful signing Justin.
-
That offer might be HC. It is an offer they don't usually turn down. He lived there for 20 yrs and that is not something Steve can offer.

That is to high. It isn't just weed. He broke into his GF's apartment and shoved her RM. After the Rice situation I don't see a #1 being used on him. If he can be had in the 3rd or later he is a steal there. -
Ravens will coach one of the Pro Bowl teams

I was thinking the same thing. Is that tampering? -
They are going down to Fla and Steves house next week. Also the coaching staff does have the PB to coach.

He makes a lot of money for safety. -
I don't think Chi would want him. they need someone to get that D fixed. Where do you get the DT being a headcase? I think the Ravens would love him. He would really make the Offense go. He made Tebow look not imbecilic. Their window padded the day they signed Peyton.

That is the week before the draft I think.

On 98 Rock they said probably next week.

I think torrey is in the Garcon to Jennings range. As you can see that is a considerably large amount of money dividing the two.
-
He would be a lot more. DT is a top 3 WR. He will demand a great deal of money. Torrey maybe top 25. Not as much. His value is more depending on the system a team runs.

This would all take more than 1 off season to get done. -
Yes on Thomas. The one thing is the Ravens I think will be a little shallow on the cap space. Can they pull a Thomas off?

Then the Ravens have to hit on lower picks more often. They need to go with th elarger DB's. Don't forget that a lot of Seattle's prowess against the pass is do to excellent passrush. On offense their receiving options are not that impressive. I would take what the Ravens have now over what the Hawks have. What they do have that is not comparable is Wilson. He raises the level of those around him. -
I am agreeing with the overall sentiment but these guys always grab the brass ring even in bad situations. I thought Marvin going to Cincy was foolish. He has raised them but may never get over the top. I knew Gruden in DC was really stupid. Rex in NY was not going to work. Woody doesn't know what he is doing up there.
