  1. The refs did screw the Ravens, it's not an excuse. I agree the Ravens themselves share the blame for putting themselves in a position to be screwed by the refs, but at the end of the day, they still got unfairly screwed. I mean overturning a close call like that - come on. The Ravens are almost always on the wrong end of these controversial calls and it comes down to our image. Harbaugh said he wants to change our image - he says we shouldn't have to be the "bad guys." I hope he is serious about the because i'm tired of it costing us with the officals.

I'd love to know the logic behind that over turn. I did not see anything that would have been a reason to over turn the call on the field no matter whether it had been a TD or not a TD. And yet someone saw something that they could justify over turning the call.

The ref told Harbaugh the ball spot review wasn't over turned because they didn't have any angles that conclusively showed the runner down before the spot. So they were being extra careful and not over turning it. Where was the same carefulness at the end of the game.

I do think the refs were awful (I also think the Ravens dbs got away with a lot of contact) especially on the reviewed plays, I just dont think they necessarily cost the Ravens the game.

  2. I agree. No excuses. The Steelers finished the game, we did not.

Get ready to get even more ill, because I believe the Steelers are the best team in the AFC.

So do I. And we played them tough both times so that makes me feel good. I dont think the Ravens are that level yet, but they may not be far off.

  3. I am not sure it cost them the game though

What the fuck game were you watching??

The same fucking one you were. What leads you to fucking think the Ravens could score any more points that day before the Steelers could? Especially after watching the Steelers drive 90 yards up the field.

Do I think the Ravens should have had the opportunity to win in OT? Yes, do I think it was automatic they would win? No. So therefore I dont think it cost them the game. Sorry if thats not fucking good enough for you.

  4. If it would have been called a TD on the field I would have been OK with it. I cannot see anything that would lead them to overturn the call on the field.

I am not sure it cost them the game though, I have no confidence that if the Steelers kick the FG that even if the Ravens get the ball first they could have done anything with it.

  5. Is there any possible way for Biscotti to maybe be able to negociate with Colts ownership to get Baltimore's history back? Talk about making a legacy as an owner...

I think its too late for that now. They have been in Indy almost as long as they were in Baltimore.

Hey Dungy, you should of had a bond with your kid!!!!!!! Football is an Effin GAME!!!!!!!!

That's awful. Yes, football is a game. Entertainment. Dungy is involved because he is the current coach of the team, it would have been odd for him to not be. In an era where so many current players and coaches do not know the history of the game at all, what Dungy said is a respectful nice thing.

How about the 15-16 year olds that are going to be watching? They will forever link Tony Dungy and the 1958 Colts.

I think most 15-16 year olds are smarter than that. And I doubt too many 15-16 year old give a rats ass about the Baltimore Colts.

  6. Someone else will, and we'll lose because of it.

But still, should they? Dont misunderstand me, if another year or even two are the difference between what we offer and what he takes then I agree the Orioles should have gone for that. But what if someone offers a 10 year 280 million deal? Should the Orioles match or try to beat that?

No real right or wrong answer, just an opinion question. Some feel that no matter what the Orioles offer, if Tex goes elsewhere then the Orioles failed. Others feel it is understandable not to try to match what are viewed as contracts that are too high.

  7. Tell angelos to get his sorryass off his wallet, up the ante if he wants to compete. If not..Its cellar dwellers for some time to come.

The Orioles are in the running, one of the final 4 teams in the hunt of Tex. Should they pay him whatever he wants no matter what?

  8. That's nothing. My dog protects me and my house from UPS and garbage trucks all the time. If he wasn't here....I don't want to think what would happen...

    *shudder*

  9. I've always been an ass. I guess you only notice it when I use that to rebut your opinions.

I have only noticed your condescending attitude toward anyone that disagrees with you for a year or so. I know you are not stupid so I assume you want to act that way for some reason.

I am still waiting for an answer for your reasons why you would be in favor of a national prohibition law.

I just don't see how drinking so you can barely speak or stand in fun.

I've been made fun of many times for my decision to not consume alcohol. I certainly feel like people look at me a different way because I don't, but maybe that's just me making up stuff that's not really there. I don't know.

Thats kid stuff. No one I know does that, that would just be embarrassing.

Those people are being jerks. There are jerks on both sides of the drinking argument. Why should someone care or think less of you if you do or don't drink. It doesn't make sense to me, but a lot of people do one way or another.

I should have clarified that when I think in the next ten years there will be a law outlawing alcohol, I am not sure anything will be passed but I do think there will be big push for a national law.

  10. I really couldn't care less about your opinion of me or what I have to say, whatsoever.

Believe it or not, entering the service isn't the only qualification required for an educated opinion, of which I'm fairly confident you lack in every way. You appear to enjoy living in cliches grasping at an imaginary utopian fairyland. However, you'll find that there are consequences to every action.

And, you're right, it is about actions. I'd ask you what actions teenagers generally perform that merit for them the legality of these things, but as I said before, I really don't give a tiny Chad Johnson testicle about your holier-than-thou opinion. Mine is educated, and that seems to be more than can be said for yours as it stands, anyway.

Has your goal for the last year or so been to look like an ass? if so well done.

  11. Are you, like, serious? If laws that stopped people from doing things didn't exist, you'd probably not be here to argue such a ridiculous take.

Pro-lower drinking age and pro-marijuana knuckleheads are the (sometimes) non-fatal scum of the earth.

Are you like serious? Please tell me you can do better than that. Dont dodge questions and tell me why you would be in favor of a national prohibition law which you stated you would be.

  12. I'm smart enough to know that it never will, but I'd like to hope that one day it'll come to successful fruition and work, for good.

Why would you want that to happen? If you want to have a drink then drink, if you don't then don't. Why would anyone want a law stopping everyone else from doing something?

I was thinking just the opposite, Spen. I expect a law lowering the drinking age back to 18 again in the next 10 years or so. Upwards of 100 college presidents signed on to some petition about it already this year... college presidents, not sga presidents, like, the actual deans of the schools.

I remember reading about that, they made some good arguments. I would still be amazed if it ever got lowered again. I am not sure whether I think it should be, but I have never really thought about it. Well, since I turned 21 I haven't.

  13. I am not sure Lewis is a success as a head coach. Perhaps if you take into account the recent history of the Bengals then he could be. Even with their injuries I think the Bengals have underperformed in 2006 and 2007. I think Marvin could get (and will) another job and be very successful, I just do not think he has done a great overall job in Cincy.
