When will players follow Richie Incognito's example and behave? !

Oh I am not making predictions about whether he stays or goes, just stating what I think they should do. Color me crazy but I think he is going to be an Oriole for a long long time. I am not sure what the dollar amount will be, but I think he gets signed long term.

I like Fallon and like the bit/shorts I see. I love the manequin (sp? not sure I have ever typed that word) hands sketches he does. I dont watch the show live, I just watch what I hear about. I have heard similar criticism about him and have heard that he can get old on when someone watches the full hour. I want both comedy bits and interviews. A good host can make an interview segment interesting. Well usually.
-
Did you hear his 'greatest meal ever' story? The one that involved no food and Tom Jones on the jukebox? Had me laughing out loud in my car.
-
The Orioles have been looking for a power hitting first baseman for years. Davis is that and a good guy and I think they should make a serious effort to sign him long term. Me thinks half the people saying trade him are some of the ones who will complain Angelos is cheap after they get rid of him.
-
Not that I am sure he will get better or be worth his contact; I think Oakland probably reacted too soon. I liked him. Except against us I wish him well.
-
They are not even sure they think that a crime has been commited, much less who will be accused of it.

I dont know his comedy much but Marc Maron's WTF podcast has helped me deal with my commute a lot in the last year. Its basically a 1 on 1 interview. Sometimes serious, sometimes just silly, but its often really interesting. Him and Louis CK both breaking down because they felt the other abandoned them, Robin Williams (sucessfully) and Carlos Mencia (unsucessfully) arguing about being joke thieves, Kumail Nanjiani talking about threats to himself and then his parents for performing his one man show. SOme great stuff. People I listen to now on Comedy Central radio and like - John Mulaney and Hannibal Burress both make me laugh a lot. Amy Schumer too (never seen her show).

I hated Jay too, The worst part about Jay is I used to really find him funny. I thought his guest appearances on Letterman were hilarious. His show though, ughh...

http://www.cnn.com/2014/04/10/showbiz/stephen-colbert-david-letterman/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 Oddly enough I saw it first on a site called Zap2it. 10 minutes before USA today or CNN had it. I like most of the current crop of hosts, I just dont watch much anymore. Up until switching jobs last year I watched a lot of them. I think Letterman is a genius but has been phoning it in a bit for a few years. I think Colbert is great. Good choice IMO. Craig is goofy (I mean it as a compliment) and has the most conversational of all talk show interviews.

Colbert to get the Letterman job

I like Greg Kinnear but have never seen the show.

In Living Color was great, certainly funny enough to comment on global warming.

For early in the season I think tomorrows game is a relatively big one.

My favorite time frame is probably a weird one, one that was a strange time in SNL history. I like the season where they hired more established people like Billy Crystal, Christopher Guest, and Martin Short. I thought that was a really good group. The 90s had a number of good casts.
-
I guess SNL and similar is kind of like porn. if you watch a few minutes of it then it might seem good, but if you watch the whole 90 minutes (ie The Whole 9 Inches) then it might seem bad.
-
There have been some bad years and some great years but overall I think it has been pretty consistent. If you watch the full shows, not the best of versions, the old ones had a lot of horrible stuff too.

Baltimore Ravens extend John Harbaugh's contract
Spen replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
Well if thats the case, this Monday just took a turn for the worse. -
I have a feeling that will be the best thing I read all week. I'm going to try to use that at work next time I mess something up.

I've never been to Florida so I cannot really say how it is. I've been to all the states around it but never crossed the border. No particular reason, just never a destination. One of my friends moved there after college for a fresh start. He lasted a year and came back summing up in one sentence why. 20 years later its still probably the best description anyone has ever given me of a place. "The scent of domestic violence was in the air". My wife worked for a year with a guy who thought guns were the solution to every problem. Really nice guy, just would have almost weekly rants about guns. The wonderful place he often spoke of free from all crime because of more relaxed gun laws? Texas! Now my wife is from Texas (don't judge me!) so she knows there is plenty of crime there, violent crime too, so she would tell him but out fell on deaf ears. He would explain to colleagues how wonderful and safe Texas is every time there was a big shooting story. Now you may ask as I did why he didn't move to this wonderful land. He would have but he was Jewish and alas he didn't think the wonderful utopia of Texas cared much for Jews. Just a couple things that amuse me. Philosophical question, if a baby is crying in a Florida movie theater - do you shoot the baby or the parent?

Baltimore Ravens extend John Harbaugh's contract

I'm still unsure what that means, which means to me it makes as much sense as any of your other posts. -

After honestly evaluating your posting skills, I have to agree that any success you have achieved has more to do with the forum than with your actual posting. Keep asking the same question, get it answered honestly and efficiently but not how you'd like, then try to twist the given answer and ask the same question again. And again.
