3 straight weeks Harbaugh has had to explain himself
Spen replied to Tornado700's topic in Baltimore Ravens
But Fouts is not an NFL coach. Going for it may be a popular call for fans or announcers but going for it in situations like that do not often happen often in the NFL. Look it up. Now judging how little you understand the game and coaching I am not surprised you think they should have gone for it. I also wouldn't be surprised if you don't think they should have gone for it but your hate of Harbaugh changed your mind. -

I just think that was the right call and not a blunder. I only remember teams going for the win in that situation and they were always teams with bad records. Fouts is a commentator and actor, not a coach. I know if we try and fail 99 of the fans are complaining about that call the next day. -

Which blunder this time? The onside kick was dumb but the way the Steelers drives were yesterday if it's a normal kick the Ravens might not get the ball back. And going for 2 at the end? No team that's not out of it playoffs does that. The coach and goofy calls are not to blame. The team is simply not putting up enough points most wells to win. -
Same story as usual. The offense stinks

Good game Steel.....
-
He really is...

Good let's concuss our only offense....
-
We can discuss whether players should have been brought back or not, but I think it's pretty obvious this offense is not good enough. The defense is good, but not good enough for a team with this offense....

I never said he was the only reason the team won the super bowl. I said I don't think they win it or make it there without him. Naturally numerous other players had a lot to do with the run as well. I think the team did him wrong and I think it has hurt the team. Has any WR we have ever had fought for the ball as hard? Done as much without the ball as he has? People want to support the team, and I do too, but when the team parts with a player there seems to be a desire by a lot of fans to diminish what the payer did while here. I don't get that. I think the team certainly scores more points in the first 6 games if he was here and I suspect they have at least one more win, though admittedly that's just a gut feeling. Heck do the Ravens even make the playoffs last year if Boldin doesn't make a hard and tremendous block in SD?

Oh yeah. I think they miss him. It was a mistake to trade him. We don't win the SB without him (IMO) so we ask him to take a pay cut then trade him. The offense gets the team through the playoffs and wins it all then the front office gets rid of a key part while almost completely focusing on defense in the off season. The offense could have possibly been special but the team dismantled and ignored it.

I guess I will go 17-10 Steelers. Hope not though. Papa I think you are fairly objective too. Well for someone who dislikes coaches and really lacks understanding of what a coach does and says, and for someone who lets personnel decisions he disagrees with bother him forever, and most importantly one who so stronly wants to be the asshole that you are to be able to say "I told you so". I know how important that part is to you so I think you try to be objective in picking when you think they will win and lose so you do not miss any oppurtunity, no matter how little, to say "I told you so". Hey, if anyone says anything negative about Harbaugh this week, no matter how minor or major, I look forward to your standard "I thought Harbaugh could do no wrong" post. Thats great stuff man.

Sounds to me lke you are really tired of watching the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving day. My dreams are often with my wife in them but often we are living in my childhood home or my grandparents house. I am sure a shrink could have fun with that. Last night I had a dream, I has an awesome dream. People in the park playing games in the dark And what they played was a masquerade, And from behind of walls of doubt a voice was crying out

Earlier in the week I was actually happy when the a;arm went off because I was having a dream where I was in a car accident as the result of a building exploding. It seemed like an attack of some sort then I woke up. I think dreams are largely meaningless. I have had sexual dreams about people I had absolutley no interest in.

Youre the best Dee! But in all seriousness thanks for running this site. And I am sorry I tried having my cable bill billed to this site. I now know that was wrong. Or so I have been told.

I wonder how many times we can get her to thank us....

I hope it was a great day. Enjoy your 26th year!

I see both sides. I liked the call to go for it on 4th when it was made. I wasnt thrilled with the play call. Its only in retrospect with the final score that I dont like the call. The entire offense needs to be better. All of them. Joe. The line. The backs. The recievers. All of them.

They really are amazing. I am a fan of the Canadiens, one of the Bruins biggest rivalries so I see many games a year. I listen to a couple. Its not long before I have to turn the sound down. They seem to be watching a complete other game sometimes. I just wish they were calling the finals last year when the Bruins gave up the lead and then the game in the final 2 minutes of game 6. Two goals in 17 seconds to lose the cup.. This was a good crazy rant:

I am fine with it. At best it helps, at worst its harmless. Oh and the color for prostate cancer awareness would be brown.

Thats really cool Cravn

I thought Joe played really well Sunday, better than his numbers may look

I have fun with it, but I am not really superstitious.
