  1. I've always felt that when you are coming from behind and get momentum going, any negative in pts is a killer. It may be just one point, but it is another point you have to make up. Keep the positive going, kick the extra point there, go for 2 when you have no other choice.

I think I can speak for many Raven fans on this. When the Ravens want two and line up, we lose the extra point. We hardly ever win that contest.

And one other thing. Did you notice that on 3rd and short (1 or 2 yards ) that we threw the ball? Why not trust your backs to run that thing in there?

  2. It was pretty bad and downright ugly some of the time. I have to say I was shocked to see Stanley getting pushed around by a rookie. The protection for Joe was terrible and so was his throwing. The pass to Brown for a TD was lucky.

If Joe gets good protection, he'll pick a defense apart, but pressure him and he falls apart.

I give the defense a pass figuring losing their leader Mosley early on was a big shock to their psyche. They recovered for the most part in the second half.

I'm not expecting much better this season. Maybe they can bounce back against Pittsburgh next week since their pride has now been wounded.

82- Luckily, we play Denver at home this week. Pittsburgh is after that away.

  3. Nope, plenty of time. It looked like he just looked at the rb, no where else. He was bad last night. Three line is not great, the receivers are retreads, but he's a lower tier starter now who is getting worse.

I knew when this game started that Joe was not going to be the same Joe we saw last week vs. Buffalo. He had "the fear look" in his eyes. Last week, we came out hard on play action by Joe. Against Cincy, it was all drop back and hunt for a receiver. Anyway, Cincy looked unbeatable last night. It was very hard to watch. And yes, what the hell went wrong with our defense?

  4. Gee, the poor guy can't stay healthy. Bring up Gus Thompson or Turner if need be. They will contribute.

I've always liked this guy, except for his inability to stay healthy. I agree with you, bring either one of these guys up.

How long is Dixon going to be out?

  5. I was not overly impressed. They were good. They did what they should have been doing for yrs against a bad team. Lets see what happens Thur and against the Steelers in a few weeks.

11-5 (or better) Sorry to disappoint you Papa. I know how much you dislike them.

  6. I expect what I have seen from Crabtree in the past. Solid but not spectacular. Snead and Brown I expect little from. They have been about worthless the last couple yrs.

So what did you think of all of these three today? I'd say they are all going to be playmakers for Joe. Not to mention these two tight ends, Andrews and the 1st rounder. This team is now built to score alot this season.

  7. Letting these starters sit after the second half is going to really help these players go into Cincy. Good call Harbs.

Now, let's give these Bengals a black eye in front of their fans and show this conference who is in charge this season.

  8. A win is a win, I hope they remember that Thursday and do not get too hi because of this score. Lots of work to do....

Running game, running game, where art thou running game...

That's exactly how I see it. 47-3 win... meh. Let's look at the negatives, shall we?

  9. Here's the rest:

    T Randin Crecelius

    NT Carl Davis

    RB Gus Edwards

    FB Christopher Ezeala

    DE Myles Humphrey

    DE Bronson Kaufusi

    G Cameron Lee

    WR Andre Levrone

    TE Vince Mayle

    LB Albert McClellan

    WR Breshad Perriman

    G Maurquice Shakir

    G Nico Siragusa

    RB Mark Thompson

    RB De’Lance Turner

    WR Tim White

    QB Josh Woodrum

    Placed on IR:

    P/K Kaare Vedvik

They can't cut Kaufusi. Too much talent.

  10. The good ones come here to learn from the best.

He's smart. He knew that if he came here it would lead to a starting job on another team this year.

Max- apparently not that smart. He's in shock trauma now with severe head injuries. I think he probably got jumped and stomped last night in East Baltimore. Why in the hell would he be in East Baltimore???

  11. Stay classy prick.

My point was that he can sit on the bench and learn. Who knows, but you write him off, just like everyone else (~95% of all Ravens, a team you don't like) except for maybe Dixon and Correa who blessed with your almighty 'praise'. I've tried avoiding your posts but as you are actively posting and starting most of the conversations, it's impossible.

    You're a miserable human being.

Not to mention that he also chases good posters away. I know he did this to Crave and others.

Can you suck a d***? What kind of thing is that to say on these boards? Moderators- you allow this sort of behavior? Why?
