The worst signing in history goes to Flacco after the Super Bowl . Has been the definition of mediocre, average at best, and you are up in arms over a backup that’s not naming any money. Simply unbelievable
Regarding Flacco, you're preachimg to the choir.
-
I can't watch much more of this. Lamar Jackson at # 32? Wasted pick if they are really interested in replacing Flacco. And then they keep trading backwards. WHY??? Maybe Ozzie and Co. believe that real talent comes from that 7th round. They must because it looks like we're going to get about 6 or 7 picks there. I'm completely baffled here.
I'm not saying that Jackson is not an NFL QB. He's at most a back up.
-
Question here: Any possibility the Ravens stayed away from taking a Calvin Ridley in the first since their last 2 or 3 receiver picks in the 1st were all busts? I have to admit that deep down in me, It def. concerned me.
-
But they'll take a Heisman Trophy winning QB at 32. What do you all think of this pick?
-
yyyyyyyyeeeeeesssssss. Welcome Lamar!
Tell us about this young man. My only question is- is he going to replace "I refuse to take a pay cut for the sake of the team-Joe Flacco?" And how soon?
-
We should start calling Ozzie CANT GET RIGHT , he has been in this town for nearly twenty years and he still doesn’t understand that this fan base will never accept a black qb, even as its back up.
I don't buy your argument about the black QB shit. That's B.S. What about McNair? We loved that guy! A winner is what we want! RG3 in 6 mos., will be walking in with a "walker". When my wife told me about this signing, I just yelled, WHAT? Unbelievable. Maybe the worst signing in the history of the entire NFL.
-
It's a real wonder how RG3 left the bldg. without tripping over something, falling down, and hurting his other knee. Some players are just prone to injury. As for me, I am starting to truly wonder what is going on in the heads of those decision makers at the Castle. Remember not too long ago when the Ravens, OUR TEAM FROM BALTIMORE, were not so long ago, consistent challengers of the playoff's when they stepped onto the field? Sadly, it appears that those days are gone. I think Harbaugh is a good Head Coach, but should not carry the water for the Front Office. My fellow fans, the Ravens appear to be headed down the road right in to Camden Yards at Oriole Park.
RG3? C'mon man.

Thanks for both answers.
-
Let's just be glad it's done.
-
Well, I did not know that Wallace is gone. Our best receiver. BTW, when is draft day?
-
Good news. I hope they are serious about this and not just blowing smoke. if they take a QB, take it in the 1st round, somebody to replace Flacco. I never ever thought I would be saying this about Joe. But if the only way to have success is to load the team with all quality receivers, then that indicates that Joe is not doing what he was hired to do- make plays.
-
Bc it puts less cap space into the future. And No I don't want them to restructure Joe at all. That will make him uncuttable later. I want Joe to get less money. They need to clean the cap in future yrs. This gives them less movement then.
WOW. I had no idea that you were so smart in these matters. Bisciotti needs to fire Ozzie NOW and give you the job as GM.
-
Yep, just makes you wonder what they plan to use the roughly $20 mil cap space they made for this season.
Maybe another bad move ontop of these... Jeepers
Do you guys actually hate this team that much that you are seriously complaining that NOW, we have TOO MUCH cap space? You, Papa and now 82 are haters. 82, what the hell happened to you? You use to be a big fan of this team. Stop listening to these haters. Personally, I prefer to look at the glass more than 1/2 filled. Another words, let's all see what happens, unless of course, all three of you are able to predict the future.
-
Another poor decision.
How is restructuring your contract, thereby creating more cap space- a BAD move? Isn't that EXACTLY what we have all (including yourself) been bitching about Joe Flacco NOT doing? You have your right to your own opinions, but at least be consistent with them.
-
And that is the very reason Papa that you find a way to get another franchise QB. Ben did it, so did Aaron Rogers, and I believe that even Tom Brady did it. I had no idea that Joe was like that.
-
They can't afford him. This is what happens when you are in the business of giving bad contracts.
Like Flacco's?
-
He would fit in perfectly with the black and purple.
-
Why would a paycheck player ever do that?
For the love of his team, teamates, coaches, owner? That would be a good start. Maybe because it would help them back in the playoffs and maybe even another Superbowl? I mean, what can you do with 21 million dollars that you can't do with 10 million? More pancakes for the kids? I dunno.
-
I say, outside of the 1st round, take DJ. He will come in and quickly become their #1 receiver. He's a playmaker who reminds me of Antoine Boldin.
-
Keep him. He's a decent to good RT. He's solid. Sign him.
-
Well, I always look on the bright side. This will give our second and third string alot more snaps and this means more experience. A couple of questions here. First, who are these players that will be out and for how long? Sorry to test you here max, but anyone who knows is more than welcome to post this knowledge. Secondly, who are we playing the first three or four games?
Anybody? I know that Jimmy will still be out with the achilles injury, but who else? Just curious. And who are our first 3 opponents?
-
I would love it if they got DJ Moore in the second. Now, this guy is a natural born playmaker, and possibly a found gem in the making.
-
Just give us one gem and I'd be happy. But, I wish Joe would restructure to give this team some cap space. It's all about the playoff's.
-
So if Maysfield is there...take him?
Hell yeah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel like the Ravens future is disintegrating before my very eyes

Yeah 82, they're getting more picks, after the other teams have passed on them. We are going to be left with ground beef when all the steaks are gone.
