I think the game time will definitely affect crowd size. If asked to go I would try to but the time would make things difficult.
Now is this something a coach should voice concerned over?.....
Yes a coach should voice concern over this. He wants a packed loud stadium and thanks to the NFL, he's not going to get it.

To 4:30 for the Bengals game
Harbs is not happy, thinks the time will cause the fans to stay away... These guys really are in a different reality....
He's right. Half that stadium will be empty. Why? Because many will have plans for the night and this game will delay them. 2. When it gets dark (1st qtr,) It gets pretty darn cold out there. Weather calls for 20 degrees at game time with the wind chill at 6 degrees. 4th qrtr. -alot worse. Harbs is correct and has every right to be upset. He can't do anything about the weather, but he can get mad when they flex a game that will undoubtedly keep thousands of fans at home holding their tickets. My guess is a half empty stadium tomorrow. 30-35,000 stay home.

Bengals enact revenge, shut out a hapless Ravens team too concerned with crowd size and party locations...
Hater.

This will be my final post/thread on this board. Papa replied to my post within seconds of my rebuttal to Spen. I have noticed that he does that often. He lives on this site. Good for him but it tells me one thing. He doesn't work and has absolutely no life. None. No family and no friends. Pretty sad really. But I refuse to be on a board where all most people want to do is argue with you and try to make an ass of you simply because they disagree with what you think or say. Most of you here who revel in that sort of thing ought to be ashamed of yourselves. I simply can not chat with people like Papa and his type of ilk.
Crave, Max, 82- best to you guys.

What opinions? You claim to not know what the initial protests were about and now claim to never know race was a part of it? You could easily learn both.
Do you have opinion or just an ignorant (by choice) stance?
Answer this: What if instead of the NFL, this was MLB or the NHL protesting this. Would this still be about race? NO, it wouldn't. It would still be about protesting the SSB and flag on my dime. Why do you liberals always claim racism first all the time? That card is getting real old, real fast.
BTW Spen, don't ever ask me if I'm just ignorant by choice. I've served my country for a combined total of 53 years. THAT gives me the right not to engage in a pissing contest with a skunk.

Another one of Papa's threads bites the dust.
-
I refuse to get into a pissing match with a skunk, Papa. You have your opinions and I have mine. End of discussion from me.
-
Maybe we can go in there and pull this one out.
-
The only ones I see who are making this about race are the left wing folkes. No one that I know- never even thought about race before I started seeing it on liberal news stations. It's always been about, to me at least, about our anthem, flag, soldiers, and country. Not the color of someone's skin color. I find this appalling.
-
What difference does it make if there was an announcement at the time, an hour before, a day before, a week, month, or year before? It's not like it was unexpected. It's a bunch of folks coming into Baltimore who aren't affected by the day to day BS, who don't give a damn about anything not in their circle, who rather say how dare the ungrateful negros use the platform we've given them to anything other than entertain us, and who are happy remaining isolated, ignorant, and stupid who are butt-hurt boo-birds. Screw them.
Please don't play the face card here. This issue had nothing to do with race. It was about our country.

Bottom line, Joe is overpaid and the team is suffering for it. If we ever win another superbowl, the first thing I am going to do is call SteveB. and ask if I can have two club level season tickets on the 50 yard line.
For free.
For life.

2020 is a long time from now, man. But, if it's what they have to do, it's better than being the Browns.

Hey, we finally agree on something!!!!!
-
Somehow, some way, they need to get rid of Flacco and that BIG monetary obligation. It was Bisciotti's biggest mistake. And he has to know that. I'd rather have Mallet with a good Oline than to have Flacco with a bad beaten up one.
-
One thing only is preventing this team from acquiring the type of players that made this a supreme team back in 2000.
Joe Flacco's salary.
-
I agree with all of the above!
So do I.
-
Ravens vs. Jags- The Ravens went there for a pleasure trip. Jags- it was a business trip. Fault? Front office.
-
Excellent analysis 82. Any good news to report?
-
Couple of points.
1.) No team has a chance without a decent O-line. Injuries have murdered this unit.
2.) And this has been pointed out on these boards- without an offense, the entire defense plays 3/4 of the entire game. I watched this on TV and they seemed sluggish and exhausted out there.
How can you go 6-0 (incl. preseason), then get completely blown out in consecutive games?
And now, they have to fly to Oakland. Sigh....
-
T- if they have another non playoff season, which they will, I think the owner is going to pull the plug on Ozzie and Harbs. I'm going to guess that they also draft a QB within the first couple rounds. This is a necessary move.
-
Big question here. Is Flacco's contract guaranteed? Please don't say yes.
-
It's over folks. Too many injuries and too many issues.
-
Good luck with your battles Tornado!
Also I am really sorry that some players protest for equality and against oppression is messing up enjoyment of watching a game on TV. Some people are really inconsiderate.
Thank you Grub.

T- I just checked the official NFL rulebook concerning this matter. It is "policy, not a rule"
So you were correct. Thought I should point that out.
Kick off time moved back

Just hates this team sooo much. I don't get it.
