  1. If we forget for a moment that it is the Ravens who are playing in Denver and ask ourselves the question: Can a team who leads the league in dropped passes and missed tackles win in Denver? The answer is "No." If we add a "but"...But they have Lamar Jackson and Justin Tucker.....then I'd say "Maybe." This is my gut feeling. The Ravens come back to earth and lose. All the injuries and team issues bite them in the ass. I really hope I'm wrong and that once again, logic is over rated.
  2. Ravens receivers have the worst drop rate in the NFL this season. A whopping 11.8%. 3% more than the second worst team. Can't catch, can't tackle...the basic fundamentals of the game. If this continues Sunday they will have their asses handed to them.
  3. Just a guess here: if you are vaccinated and test positive the wait time is around 5 days....something like that.
  4. I am thinking similar thoughts. The mileage may be beginning to catch up with him. He's not super human And...I'm noticing that he is taking more shots, more hard hits trying to make plays. And he was sacked 4 times. And his sack total for the year is high. They reports are that it's not serious.
  5. “Ravens had 5 players not practicing Thursday: QB Lamar Jackson (back) OT Ronnie Stanley (ankle) S DeShon Elliott (quad) DE Derek Wolfe (back/hip) NT Brandon Williams Four players returned: OT Alejandro Villanueva, WR Sammy Watkins, CB Tavon Young and OLB Pernell McPhee https://t.co/8Lm1oemDwD”
  6. Yes. They need time and that's why Sundays win was so important...Chiefs win too. Currently anything can happen. They could lose in Denver. They have to keep winning now before the competition gets heavier to stay in the hunt.
  7. I don't know what more he has to do to satisfy some people....
  8. He has averaged 12.3 air yards per pass attempt and 9.1 air yards per completion, up from 8.9 air yards per attempt and 6.6 air yards per completion in 2020. He leads all starting quarterbacks in both categories,
  9. He's on target for 4,300 yards passing. 1,422 yards rushing. Not too shabby.
  10. What worries me is that Stanley might have a career ender. The wheels have to be excellent at LT or you get slaughtered. If he needs another surgery for a wild shot chance at getting close to where he was then get it now rather than 2-4 months from now. He was so good when he was healthy. Sad situation. Lamar had decent time to throw...good sign of improvement. I do'nt t see any RB's othe than Williams and McCrary who can hit the line fast enough for this Ravens rushing offense to work. Hope I'm wrong.
  11. That is good news. I know Houston and Williams practiced today. The Lions doubled and triple teamed Oweh so he has won respect. With Houston back teams can't do that. It's going to be fun watching Oweh learn and figure it out. The pass rush may materialize over the next few weeks. Still a lot of players dinged up. “Ravens had eight players not practicing Wednesday: QB Lamar Jackson WR Sammy Watkins OT Ronnie Stanley (ankle) OT Alejandro Villanueva OLB Pernell McPhee CB Tavon Young S DeShon Elliott (quad) DE Derek Wolfe (back/hip)” Lamar was sore from Sundays beating.
  12. Over 44 looks good. Ravens D can't stop anybody at the moment. They need Brandon Williams and Madabuke and learn how to tackle. The O will have to pile on points until this team gets healthy.
  13. Lamar leads the NFL in yards-per-completion and yards-per-carry. No one like him.
  14. Oh yea....just having some fun.
  15. Is this you papa?
  16. Over 44 looks good. Ravens D can't stop anybody at the moment. They need Brandon Williams and Madabuke and learn how to tackle. The O will have to pile on points until this team gets healthy.
  17. 44.9 win percentage.Shit! How are they going to pull off a win here? The Broncos have the #1 defense for points surrendered at 8.7 per game! #2 defense for yards. Oh wait! They haven't played a real football team yet.
  18. So...you're saying the Steeler fans will have a long desert 🏜 experience? Gee...that's too bad.
  19. I hear a great "weeping and knashing of teeth " on the Steelers boards. Let's not be like them.
  20. “Pretty remarkable Justin Tucker stats: He's made 49 consecutive fourth-quarter field goal attempts and all 16 of his field-goal attempts inside one minute of regulation.” 16 for 16 inside of a minute. That's impressive.
  21. I like your "this game balances out their depleted roster" comment. Missing 19 players and wining an NFL game is a huge accomplishment. This win takes some of the sting out of my thoughts about how good this team could have been if everyone was healthy. Browns drops turned this game from being a blowout to a classic Ravens win. The drops also hurt Lamars stats. He would have been well over 300 yards passing with 2 more TD's. It is what it is. This also hurt because from what I hear the Lions stacked the box and sold out to stop the run. Just what we want because then you can burn them deep, force them to defend the whole field and gobble them up. In Little Rock heading for Nashville, eyes are burning, but the coffee tastes real good this morning. Love "My Ravens."
  22. Lions fans must feel sick.
  23. I think you and maybe oldno were calling this to be a close game. Good call. Yea the 4th and 19! Insane. I hear Brown missed 2-3 TD catches.
  24. My daughter read the ESPN gamecast to me while driving from Oklahoma to Little Rock. We ran through all the thoughts and emotions that everyone here had. I didn't know it hit the cross bar until I got to the hotel and saw the replay. Simply amazing and one great all time Ravens memory.I'll watch the game tomorrow night on Game Pass somewhere in Tennessee. Huge must needed win! with so many players who are out, they have to win games like this to stay in the hunt until some can come back healthy. They stole victory from the jaws of defeat. Lions fans have to be sick. 66 yards!
