  1. Missed opportunity...could have ended the drive and taken over
  2. WTF! Bull Shit
  3. Settle down...settle down.
  4. Shit! That's 2 fumbles they missed!
  5. And now the penalties.
  6. Come on Clark! Baker can't make the long throws.
  7. Yea...and they did it with a 7.
  8. This seems to be an "Are You Legit?" game. The Ravens keep playing in these and they do win some. This one obviously has playoff implications. It's almost like a "one and done" game as far as the sense of urgency. The Ravens have not won these types of games in the Lamar era, unless I'm missing something. So....tonight is a big night.

  10. ....."Here's to Hope!"
  11. Few pundits...see photo....... are picking the Ravens. I had to search for somebody who thought they will win....
  12. Shit! Steelers/Bills at 8:20. That means football from 1 until mid night! My eyes will be bleeding! Let's get a little Holiday cheer in here....
  13. There's no doubt in my mind, that if the Ravens don't pay Lamar, that there will be 20 teams lining up to bid for his services. What bothers me about the passing game the most is the same thing we saw back when Jamal was in his heyday. Teams loaded the box to stop the run. Perfect situation to burn them deep or intermediate. Occasionally Dilfer would beat that with a big play pass but not enough for Stover to keep trotting onto the field. Then, Flacco, when he was hot, could do it when Rice was in his heyday. Same situation now and the same mild success. So the Ravens keep leaving points on the field. Where are the plays or check downs when the box is loaded and teams are playing the run? That said: It's a Red Zone Day....again..........see you soon Skippy, for 7 hours of commercial free NFL football.
  14. Those who still believe Trump, like walking behind the farting camel.
  15. The key to this game is the 1st and 2nd quarters. Don't let the Browns start off like they did against the Titans. Weather the storm............... until the Browns become "The Browns."
  16. In every game Lamar is the best athlete and play maker of the field...except when they play KC. What he brings to this team, his energy and enthusiasm, focus and goals is solid gold. You don't get rid of a player like that. Never.
  17. Forget the week one opening day game against the Browns where the Ravens threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns and Lamar had a 152 rating and Baker had a 65 rating. Those were two different teams than the ones who are taking the field Monday night. The Ravens came in to that game healthy and well prepared while the Browns entered with the new coaching staff and schemes. Yet note this: the Browns ran for 138 yards in that game with a 5.1 ypc. Stopping the run Monday night will be paramount as the Browns offense is all play action. Ravens win percentage is 65.9% and if you're not feeling it, well... I'm not either. With all the injuries, lack of practice and game time for so many players due to Covid, I think it will be a difficult task for the Ravens to defeat a red hot Brown's team that has been building, learning and growing for 12 games and is peaking at the right time. Both teams are loaded with talent. Both teams need to win to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot. The 7-5 Ravens need to win a whole lot more than the 9-3 Browns. It's almost a must win game for the Ravens. So we have the perfect opportunity for revenge game for the Browns to put the hurting on the Ravens. They should be fired up. Let's hope the Ravens are too. What do you think Lamar? “Every game is a big game, just like Tuesday was for us. It’s win or go home,” Team Stats Points Per Game 26.3 25.5 Points Allowed Per Game 19.3 26.8 Total Yards 351.4 371.8 Yards Passing 182.4 214.0 Yards Rushing 169.0 157.8 Yards Allowed 355.5 378.7 Pass Yards Allowed 243.9 274.3 Rush Yards Allowed 111.6 104.3 Scenes we'd like to see... I posted this on another thread: "The Browns looked really good defeating the Titans until things started falling apart for them. Up 38-7 at halftime they got blown out in the second half 28-3. They only ran for 118 yards at 3.3 ypr. The Titans had 3 turnovers. Which team are they? And this.... So let's say that there is some hope for this inconsistent, injury and co-vid bit 2020 Ravens team. I do believe the Ravens competitive juices are really high and that they believe in themselves and that their goal is still very much within reach. Another Scene we'd like to see...... I'd like to hear what you think are the keys to this game. For me number one is to not turn the ball over. Number two avoid costly penalties and mistakes. Number three stop the run. There are others you can add, such as pressure Mayfield, win the field position battle and score touchdowns rather than field goals. How about another...... I need some time to ponder my prediction.
  18. Inconsistent.
  19. I'm trying to stay away from politics but I keep failing. I hit the news to see what's going on and stuff like I am posting below keeps coming up. And it's real. It's been happening and there's nothing I can do about it other than vote. Nevertheless, awareness is important.............. Read the article. It's disheartening and scary. It definately feels like 1859-60. The hate, division and quest for power seems more important than life. "Hate your next door neighbor, but don't forget to say Grace." Republicans Are Going Down a Dangerous Road (msn.com) And this just came up....
  20. The Browns looked really good defeating the Titans until things started falling apart for them. Up 38-7 at halftime they got blown out in the second half 28-3. They only ran for 118 yards at 3.3 ypr. The Titans had 3 turnovers. Which team are they? Here's a hint:
  21. I see you. You're right over there! Where they're passing the Grey Poupon........The person with a computer in front of them....and a martini....right next to the passed out drunk. Might be varaven....can't tell for sure.
  22. I see the same thing. The Ravens were definitely rusty due to not practicing and playing together. Covid, injuries, conditioning and many new faces, all impacted the quality of their performance. You play how you practice and with basically no team drills for a long time, it was good to see them dominate. All this rust needs to be gone by Monday.
  23. Happy with the win. Ravens 7-5. That means meaningful game in December.
  24. 4th and 19...they make it...really!?
