Yea...Good Find. I know it's the homer Ravens fan in me, but I think the only thing holding Lamar back is the patched up O line. I don't want to beat up on those guys because for back ups the never gave up, fought their tails off and eventually beat a very good defensive front 7 in Indy. I think Lamar can elevate his game. I think his ceiling is higher...but he needs help around him like all QB's so he can shine. OH...and the SI mid season Power Rankings has the Ravens ranked #3....they see something we don't.

Hanging out in the ER basement with some fellow posters.......... detoxing from Politics and the election, but little by little, I'm getting my priorities straight...Ravens football! And we have another good one coming up against our good friend Bellicheat on Sunday Night. You know he'll call a trick play, at a critical time, and the Ravens will fall for it... and Ham Newton.... and the Patriot cheerleaders... The Ravens are 7 points favorites at Gillette. 66.3 win probability. Pats are 3-5...2-2 at home. When's the last time we saw that?! Team Stats Points Per Game 28.4 20.8 Points Allowed Per Game 17.8 24.3 Total Yards 362.3 373.3 Yards Passing 192.1 213.6 Yards Rushing 170.1 159.6 Yards Allowed 347.8 363.3 Pass Yards Allowed 246.0 232.3 Rush Yards Allowed 101.8 131.0 Can the Ravens offense pick up where the left off?

I'm very optimistic. The Ravens are on pace for 12 wins. They have the #1 defense in points surrendered. #1 Special Teams. We've seen this winning formula with lesser Ravens teams. The offense however inconsistent it looks, is cranking out 20+ points for the 31st straight game.....and shit!....they may find their grove over the next 8 games. Other than the Chiefs, how scary is that AFC list of contenders?
-
Another note: With Peters getting his 30th career interception in 85 games, he joins only 2 other players who have done that. Dion Sanders and Ed Reed.
-
Here's the list if the season ended today: AFC 1. Steelers (7-0) 2. Chiefs (8-1) 3. Bills (7-2) 4. Titans (6-2) 5. Ravens (6-2) 6. Raiders (5-3) 7. Dolphins (5-3) First team out: Browns (5-3) If league decides to expand to 16 playoff teams... NFC 1. Saints (6-2) 2. Seahawks (6-2) 3. Packers (6-2) 4. Eagles (3-4-1) 5. Buccaneers (6-3) 6. Cardinals (5-3) 7. Rams (5-3) First team out: Bears (5-4) The Ravens knocked the Colts out....for now. The Titans game looms larger. Just keep winning and all will be well.

The defense kept them in the game long enough for Roman to wake up. The defense held them to 10 points. They were averaging 26. The decision at halftime to increase the tempo made the difference. The players could play without thinking. They got into a fluid rhythm. They didn't have time to out think themselves. They just went out a balled. Just watching Lamar...his football instincts took over, because he knows what to do. How many Ravens offenses have we seen slowly walk up to the line of scrimmage, lazily put their hands down and get beat off the ball? Not in the second half at Indy. That sense of urgency, attack, fight...no matter how ugly it looks like, that wears down an opponent. Eventually, an excellent Colts defense caved in.

Hey crav! Good to see you around. Here...I hope this helps you during therapy.. You always bring out the worst in me. Here's the change that happened in the second half for the Ravens O against a very good Indy D...according to our good friend John Eisenberg........... Lamar threw 10 times in the second half, all completions. And Just Remember : Russell Wilson had 2 INT's and lost 2 fumbles today as the Seahawks lost. It happens even to the great ones. Let's hope that's it for Lamar.
-
"The Ravens are 6-2." "Really?!" Yea...and we're officially at the halfway point of the season." Let's celebrate! The Ravens found a way to win.
-
Yes...and a patched up O Line. The Ravens got a call they never get.. Sweet challenge by Harbaugh. The Peters INT was actually an INT because he took 3 steps and had the ball in his hands. Probably all of this thought this was incomplete. I did. It was a pivotal point. Possible game changer after the Edward's fumble at the goal line.
-
Tucker! 24-10! Win probability 99.9%.... Ok 2 monkeys off their back. Never winning in Indy and not winning when down at the half. Hey...the O made the halftime adjustments.
-
Did anybody hear the announcer say "coming up next, one of the NFK's greatest rivalries the Steelers taking on the Cowboys?!!
-
Hell Yea...Lamar back door rush TD! 21-10...come on D. No time for those stupid 4th quarter penalties.
-
TOP 24 -17 Ravens up. Is the O starting to wear them down? Just made 4th down
-
Ok...never won a game at Indy....there is an opportunity to do this. Can the Ravens O get another score? Oh!!! And protect the ball!!!!
-
Edwards is an all out aggressive fighter. 14-10 Ravens. O is getting it going. Thank you Defense!
-
Kiss of Death: another goal line turnover. Just when the O was in great rhythm
-
Agree. The Ravens offense has to make the halftime adjustment or they're 5-3.
-
54 yards if offense...2.2 ypp....at the half! Ravens run game???? 18 carries 10 yards! 1.8 ypc.... 5 penalties for 55 yards. TOP 17 minutes to 13 in Indy's favor. Give the Indy D credit. Ravens D is only reason they are in the game.
-
3rd and 35...we have all been here before
-
Indy D playing fast and disciplined. Ravens O 37 yards...2.6 ypp.
-
Can't defend the edges for shit. Both units playing too slow. Seen this before....all Ravens losses.
-
Ravens down 7-0 but wait!!! Chuck Clark TD!!! Fumble return TD. Just when it was looking like Indy was taking control. Ravens offense is executing too slow.
-
Couldn't help it...I cried with him....
-
Hell Yea!!! Every city is mobbed with crowds celebrating this victory....never seen this before.
