  1. I would be relunctant to release McGahee in the offseason. One, he has been a great team player this season. Two, I really believe that this season will be a wake-up call for him to work hard this offseason. I think he finally realizes that one cannot get by solely on talent, and I feel Willis is really going to work hard this offseason. Remember, Willis is still only 27-years old, he has not lost anything. A little rest for his knee, and then some hardwork will have Willis back ready to dominate in 2009. I would hate to see us release him and then he comes back motivated and finally realizes his potential for another team.

Nevertheless, Willis is going to be huge for us this postseason. Everyone remembers the long run from Saturday night, but how about the 20+ yard reception from Willis where he caught the ball in open space and got some YAC? As long as Rice is out, that is what we will need out of Willis. Like Willis said, he just needs to perform when his number is called, and I fully expect him to do so!

I agree. If this were Jamal, he would be blaming his poor performance on not getting the ball enough. Willis has had a good attitude the whole way and I think he deserves a second chance to come back next year in shape and ready to go. Also keep in mind that he had injuries other than the knee. He got his eye poked out to the point of blindness and he has taken a lot of hits to the ribs.

  2. I was so glad when Garrett turned the Ravens down. He\'s a wanna-be. No fire. Nothing. Didn\'t like the guy.

This is from an ESPN article of the recap I thought was hysterical:

In addition to the homecoming theme, the Ravens also were motivated by Dallas offensive coordinator Jason Garrett opting to remain with the Cowboys after interviewing to become Baltimore's coach last offseason.

"I wonder what team he wishes he was coaching tonight?" Suggs said.

  3. I root for Pacquiao. My husband's uncle is Fillipino and this guy is a BIG deal there. Like he would be our Michael Phelps time 10 million. I am pretty sure Manilla shut down a day before the fight a five days after the fight in celebration.

His little experiment in light of Donovan's mistakes in recent weeks...

He asks Brandon Ayanbedejo, Jarrett Johnson and Ray Rice some of the questions...

Our guys didn't do tooooo well.

The only one I did not know ... If the third-string QB is put in the game before the 4th quarter, when can the 1st string QB re-enter the game?

I really don't blame Donovan for not knowing the rules. Although I do believe he scapegoated the situation with his ignorance (and then was stupid to publicly comment on it!) I do think players shouldn't bear the burden of knowing every nuance of the game. HOWEVER, the coaches are. I think McNabb shouldn't have gotten flack, Andy Reid should have. Judging by the multiple flags on non challengable calls that he made vs. the Ravens, the guy has no clue what is going on.

  5. I am so happy for Mark. He is a truly nice kid with a good head on his shoulders. He isn't like your diva receivers that we see in guys like TO and even Housh. I was always rooting for him to do well and know he got some flack from the fans. Here's to many more productive years for the gentleman! I think we got the next Steve Smith IMO.

  6. Anyone ride or attempt to ride the Light Rail yesterday? We waited at the North Linthicum station for 1 hour to get to the game and another 2 hours to leave. Anyone know what is up? I don't want to deal with this 2am on dec 7th
