  1. I just don't know anymore with this series. I started reading the comics after the 1st season of the show and really the show isn't doing the comics justice at all. The last episode was ok, but really we should have had a whole season of episodes like it. It's just too damn slow to get to where it needs to be. Every episode should be ending on a cliffhanger with the amount of stuff going on but I just feel meh at the end of each episode.

Now put Negan and Eugene in a room for an hour and I would watch but all other character interaction and development is just so poorly written.

  2. I didn't know they could put time back on the clock. I was thinking that you could still take the penalty and even if there was an untimed down you could still run the ball out of the back of the end zone or spike the ball to end the game.

  3. The problem I have is some of the storylines they are creating for these characters are stupid. Like WTF is up with Morgan? And Carol? I would be quite happy if it was just an hour of Negan and Eugene together. Those episodes have been the best.

I get what they are trying to deliver each episode but I just don't feel they are delivering on the promise.

  4. What frustrates the hell out of me is we saw what the team could do in the Miami game at home. I think that was the game we started in the hurry up no huddle (or something similar) and looked brilliant. Then nothing. We didn't see that offense again the remainder of the season. Why the hell did we not just use that exclusively if it was working?

  5. Since the start of THIS YEAR more Americans have killed other Americans than terrorists have killed Americans since 9/11, which is coming up on 16 years ago. Perhaps the focus should be more at home than abroad? I love so much about your country but your gun controls are lunacy. I don't think your forefathers had this in mind when they wrote the constitution. Sorry if that comes across as a little preachy but it's just my observation.

  6. I agree with old and papa. With the way the CBA is you need your draft picks to contribute early and often. You can really only afford to pay about 10-15 guys decent money. The rest need to be draft picks and vet minimum FA role players.

  7. He will be a Redshirt Sophmore next year so will be eligible for the 2018 draft. Silver lining if we suck again next year, we might be able to get Sam Darnold. I wouldn't go chasing a QB in 2017 as some have suggested. There will be better options in 2018.

This guy has some of the best pocket presence I have ever seen. He does a great job of keeping his eyes down field as he moves around in the pocket and then escapes when he needs to. He has a ligtning quick release and a strong arm. Some of the throws he made against Penn State in the Rose Bowl were elite NFL throws. There are a lot of QBs starting in the NFL right now couldn't have made that final TD pass in the Rose Bowl. The only fault that some have is where his throwing motion starts from (it's a little low) but I can't see any fault in his accuracy and velocity.

  8. I think the FO has outsmarted themselves in the draft. They have got away from what they did best. I remember a comment a year of 2 ago where they said they are now looking more and more at small school prospects because the rest of the league has caught up on how to draft smart. Well it's pretty obvious that strategy hasn't worked.

We no longer seem to get Superstars. Everyone seems to be hard working and good character but mediocre talents. That's why we will continue to end up with a hard working 8-8 record with every game close. That's how the team has been built.

We lack game changers and have become gun shy since the Ray Rice incident. We shy away from taking a potential star because of what happened. Just look at the pick of Stanley over Tunsil. I'm not saying Stanley will be a bust but Tunsil had the potential to be a superstar. We also had a chance to go up and get Jalen Ramsey but fluffed the trade with Dallas.

Look at the 2010 draft. We had a chance to get Dez Bryant. We had a chance to get Joe a potentially great WR and we passed so we could trade down and take Sergio Kindle and Terrence Cody :cryin: . In Oz we trust but he needs to stop flirting with mediocrity or that trust will evaporate.

  9. The offense is Maddingly Consistent in their Inconsistency. They go from looking elite to pop warner and back again in the same series nevermind the same game. It was rolling in the 1st half but the aggressive play calls dried up and we stopped moving the ball.

I'm shocked about how good the D looked. I'm not a Pees fan but he has about 5 or 6 games like this each season that seems to keep him in a job.
