Just days after FOXSports.com newsman Jay Glazer reported the possibility of the Ravens trading with the New England Patriots for wideout Joey Galloway, the veteran receiver has been cut, according to the Boston Herald’s Ian Rapoport.

This is interesting, because Galloway’s release before Tuesday’s 4 p.m. trade deadline means that a team would not have to give up anything other than a contract in order to nab the 15th-year veteran, not to mention that Galloway becomes an unrestricted free agent and does not have to clear waivers.

If he couldn't outplay a 7th rounder and an undrafted FA in New England what makes anyone think he can outplay Demetrius, Kelley or Tyree?

probably more related to not paying his contract and using that roster spot for someone else. Of course galloway is garbage to the patriots, they got welker and moss. He would be golden to us we have no one. One teams trash is another teams treasure
