vmax
Maybe it is because he was an undrafted free agent, but I never hear of LaQuan Williams as a serious threat challenging for the No. 2 or No. 3 receiver positions. He may not have all the physical tools and the huge upside of some others, but all he does is make plays on the field. After several weeks of training camp, I finally saw him drop his SECOND pass Monday. He deserves more of a look in the next two preseason games.Read more: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-mike-prestons-ravens-training-camp-observations-august-12-2013-pg,0,5298427.photogallery#ixzz2btQVLo5a Guys like Williams and Omar Brown deserve to play because THEY MAKE PLAYS!That's what this team needs regardless of draft status or what a guy gets paid. Now....to sober this up a little....they have to make plays against opponents #1's.But give them the chance. And I like reading this... It didn't take quarterback Joe Flacco long to start hooking up with new receiver Brandon Stokley, especially inside the red zone.Stokley isn't big, but he still runs good routs and finds the seams. If he can stay healthy, he could play a significant role for the Ravens on third down situations. Cornerback Lardarius Webb had two interceptions in the end zone in the first half of practice Monday, and he didn't look like he had any problems high stepping down the sideline. If he plays as well as he did before the knee injury last year, he has to be a top candidate for the comeback player of the year. And to overcome two major knee surgeries throughout his career, that is impressive. It's downright amazing.Read more: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-mike-prestons-ravens-training-camp-observations-august-12-2013-pg,0,5298427.photogallery#ixzz2btTRrl7S Edited August 13, 2013 by vmax
Robjr83
This next game is critical or him. He'll need to separate from Doss, Stokley and the others. I hope he gets some 1st team snaps to prove his worth.

Money
I want Laquan to win the #2 and leave Jones as the #3/KR/PR. Stokley is our 3rd down specialist.
Geronimo
I am still not giving up on Deonte. I hope he is still given a fair shot once he heals.
