Troy Polamalu is cutting his hair. That might not be a big deal for most people but the Pittsburgh Steelers safety’s hair is more than just hair. It’s also worth a lot of money in endorsement deals and it is probably the most ensured body part in the NFL. (Polamalu took out a $1 million insurance policy on his hair in 2010.) According to the Chicago Tribune, Polamalu hasn’t had his haircut in 10 years. So yeah, this isn’t just a simple haircut. Polamalu announced on Facebook this week that he would be getting a ceremonial haircut on Veterans Day this year. The event will help raise money for the Veterans of Foreign Wars Mane Event. Polamalu writes on Twitter: “We talk about supporting veterans often, but now its time for us all to DO something. I’m getting a ceremonial haircut this Veterans Day for the ‪#‎VFWManeEvent‬ with Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW I DARE you to join me.”

he said in an interview last night he is only cutting a lock of it. I kinda think if you're going to do it do it don't go half ass and only cut a lock.
