Well, BC vs. MD this week, in what the ACC is trying to make into a rivalry game.

Keep in mind, BC is now ranked, and Crane is injured. So maybe you'll pull it out...

Then again, maybe not.

Go BC!

For Boston, for Boston,

We sing our proud refrain!

For Boston, for Boston,

'Tis Wisdom's earthly fane.

For here all are one

And their hearts are true,

And the towers on the Heights

Reach to Heav'ns own blue.

For Boston, for Boston,

Till the echoes ring again!

And talk about pathetic.

Credit to the BC run defense... but that's about it.

A fake field goal... an INT on a horrible pass... and god damn did those refs suck... but not as much as Pam Ward, the UMD alum who sounded like a freaking BC Eagle.

Obi still sucks.

Our running game sucked.

Chris Cosh still sucks.

But the refs on three straight plays... the punt that MD recovered (not that it hit BC, but I think it was first touched in the pile by a BC player, so... still our ball)... the fumble on the next play, which was completely ignored... and the roughing the passer? Ugh.

And then Obi. Again.

Tech's gonna rock the Eagles. Sorry.

And really - this is hardly sour grapes. But MD just played like shit. BC didn't impress me half as much as it impressed Ward.

100% agreed, excluding the fact that the roughing call was legitimate.

The fumble wasn't even close. It NEEDED to be reviewed.

As much as BC also didn't impress me, I think we can still Beamer Ball Tech.

So, because you all hate V-Tech more then BC, here's some problems I noticed with BC tonight

1. 2ndary + No Pass Rush

- Awful. The Terps seemed to be able to throw at will. Thankfully, VTech cannot throw like that.

2. Kickoffs

- We're still giving our opponents the ball at their 35-yard line. Not good.

3. Tackling / Overpursuit

- Do these guys not know how to break down before tackling someone? ATL - On the second viewing, count how many missed tackles we had, especially in the first half. We probably gave away a half-dozen first downs because we couldn't tackle properly.

4. Gunnell

- A senior receiver cannot drop two easy passes in a game like that. What is his deal?

But wouldn't you love to see him in Purple in Black?

Hell no, he's another Brian Bozworth.

Minus the arrogance, steroids, and National Commies Against Athletes Shirt.

Oh. and the fact that he won't be a bust.

Oh. and the fact that he won't be a bust.

Ive heard that oh so many times..I'll pass on him, I mean come on Md neutralized him 90% of the game. Yeah you held us in the ground game, but we did pass for 352 yards, mostly in the LBer areas.

Not really. MD passed more towards the CBs, who were playing to loose.

And last time I said a player was going to be good, and you said he was going to bust was Matt Ryan.

Jury is still out on Ryan

Flacco > Ryan

They're equal.

Don't listen to Crav.

Any real fan will tell you that Matt Ryan is outplaying Joe Flacco.

That's not to say that Ryan will always be the better QB, but the Falcons have relied on Ryan far more than the Ravens have on Flacco. The teams were in similar, but then again very different, situations entering the season. What Ryan has done is flat out impressive.

Crav still thinks Carson Palmer is a bust. It's the homer in him

Boston College @ Maryland, Part Duex

Basketball Game Tomorrow, 7:30 @ Comcast Center

Boston College (15-6, 3-3) has recently ended it's losing streak (with losses against Harvard, Wake Forest, Miami and Virginia Tech) with two wins against Georgia Tech (in overtime) and North Carolina State. In the two wins, however, the Eagles have

Maryland (13-6, 2-3) meanwhile, just suffered one of it's most horrendous losses in decades against Duke (41 points!). The last loss that bad was in 1941, against Seton Hall. Maryland could be looking for revenge, and the inconsistent Eagles could be a reasonable candidate.
