ravinmaniac52 Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 "NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports, via a source involved in the process, the Vikes have agreed to terms with No. 9 overall pick Anthony Barr on a four-year, $12.75 million fully guaranteed contract." Catch me up here, are all first round picks guaranteed? Quote
Robjr83 Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 i dont think so.... as far as I know you can only guarantee the signing bonus. Even if he did have a 12.75 bonus they'd still have to pay a min salary that isn't guaranteed. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 No you can guarantee more that SB. If in th wording thay say the 1st 2 yrs are locked in then the team can't get out. I don't get why the Vikes would make this deal. Quote
ravinmaniac52 Posted May 20, 2014 Author Posted May 20, 2014 Have to wonder if this is going to start something Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Maybe he took less cash at the spot for the guarantee. Quote
