Update....courtesey of our good friend Jaimenson Hensley... :leon1:

Joe Flacco carried the momentum from a great season opener with a sharp practice. He continually found holes in the San Francisco 49ers zone, dropping in passes to his receivers. His best pass was a 50-yard completion to wide receiver Marlon Brown after Flacco rolled to his left and threw off his back foot.
•There were no fights in the first joint practice with the 49ers. There were a few close calls, especially with guard Kelechi Osemele and linebacker Pernell McPhee. My guess is the players were warned about throwing punches after what the head coaches said before practice.
•Jimmy Smith was the only cornerback who held up well for the Ravens. Smith set the tone in the one-on-one drill against Anquan Boldin, knocking the ball down in front of the former Ravens receiver. When Smith spoke to owner Steve Bisciotti during practice, I couldn't help thinking about the size of the check that Bisciotti will be writing Smith in a couple of years.
•Backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor didn't run in team drills for the first time in recent memory. The only way the Ravens can evaluate how he's progressed as a pocket passer is if he stays in the pocket. Taylor rushed his reads early and had several passes batted down when he tried to dump the ball off. He did finish with two deep throws, hitting Steve Smith (who had to dive for the ball) and Michael Campanaro.
•Like he's done for most of camp, Osemele was crushing defensive linemen. Osemele knocked 49ers defensive tackle Tank Carradine to the ground three times during one session of team drills.
•One of the more anticipated matchups didn't go the Ravens' way as Terrell Suggs couldn't get past 49ers left tackle Joe Staley. On the other side, Elvis Dumervil had his way with backup right tackle Jonathan Martin.
•Cornerback Chykie Brown struggled again after putting together some decent practices. He was faked out early and often, allowing too many easy catches to 49ers receivers.
•The Ravens started rotating rookie fifth-round pick John Urschel in with the second team at guard. This comes after Ryan Jensen got pushed around in the preseason opener. Jensen missed time in practice after injuring his left knee, but he returned after getting checked out by trainers.

•Ravens inside linebacker Daryl Smith (groin) returned to the practice field. He didn’t play in the first preseason game.

•It’s interesting to watch how the two teams approach practice differently. The Ravens jumped into more physical work right away while the 49ers did more calisthenics at the start.

•The two teams didn’t practice on separate fields much. There was a lot of interaction with the Ravens offense going against the 49ers defense on one field, and vice versa the next field over. The Ravens picked off 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick once in 7-on-7 work. Cornerback Chykie Brown got him on a deflected pass by linebacker Albert McClellan.

•Brown had another good play when he stripped former Ravens wide receiver David Reed off the ball and recovered his own forced fumble.

•These are two extremely strong-armed quarterbacks. Watching Joe Flacco and Kaepernick zipping balls around is impressive.

•The Ravens caught a few bombs against San Francisco’s defense. Wide receiver Steve Smith Sr., who continued his strong training camp with another good practice, caught one off his shoe top laces just before the ball hit the turf. Rookie seventh-round receiver Michael Campanaro and second-year wideout Marlon Brown also caught long touchdowns.

•49ers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh has a somewhat different role from that of his brother in practice. Jim goes into the huddle to call each play for his first-team offense. John stands in the middle of the field behind the offense.

•The quote of the day came from (no surprise) outside linebacker Terrell Suggs. After safety Jeromy Miles dropped what should have been an interception on Kaepernick, Suggs yelled, “Way to embarrass your coach!”

•Ravens General Manager Ozzie Newsome took in practice seated alongside 49ers General Manager Trent Baalke.

•The Harbaugh brothers were mostly on opposite fields from each other, both stationed with their first-team offenses. They chatted for a long while at the start of practice and did some coaching side-by-side, but weren’t together the entire practice.

•Ravens guard Ryan Jensen got banged up on one play and limped off the field. He later returned to full action.

•Kicker Justin Tucker hit a 64-yard field goal and yelled out, “Wooooo, let’s go!”

•Wide receiver Jacoby Jones continues to show off good hands. He was very effective catching slant routes across the middle, even hauling in touch throws into traffic.http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Practice-Highlights-89-Ravens-vs-49ers/8838fa8e-23ee-40b6-ba4b-39f69c417733

Two good finds, Max.

I think re-signing Tucker might be even more important than Torrey Smith and I'm a big Torrey booster.

OK...the secondary is looking like a big liability without Webb.

Not worried about the offense.

Throw it, Tyrod: After he ran the ball five times and was sacked three times Thursday, quarterback Tyrod Taylor appeared to be under clear instructions not to tuck the ball and run Saturday. He didn’t have much success through the air, though. A few big plays aside, Taylor tended to speed through his reads and settle on his checkdown receiver, who typically was covered.

Super Steve Smith: One of Taylor’s big throws was to wide receiver Steve Smith, who was the best offensive player in the Ravens’ white jerseys Saturday. Smith split a pair of 49ers defenders and caught a 50-yard bomb from Taylor during team passing drills. It was one of at least three big touchdowns Smith caught on what was his best day of practice since the start of camp.

Wow, Joe: Joe Flacco made another of his jaw-dropping throws during 11-on-11 drills when he scrambled to his left and, with a defender in his face, threw 60 yards downfield to Marlon Brown. Brown got behind a pair of defenders, the ball hit him in stride, and he strolled in for a touchdown. Again, Flacco hasn't lost his deep-ball touch in the predominantly underneath passing game the Ravens have run.

It was nice to read that Joe has lost nothing on his deep ball. He's the best in the NFL throwing that and teams have to respect that.

It also is safe to say that he's having no problem executing the QB position in Kubiaks offense.

Flacco will be fine. He won't have a problem with the new offense. Others might, but it sounds to me like he's really bought into Kubiak and his system.
