They think Ravens are gonna win. That's the way it works. Everyone in the country

outside of Baltimore will bet on Luck putting up another 40 pts w/o realizing that

Ravens have the #1 defense in the red zone. Their over D is #13 overall but #6 vs

the rush but Indy passes a lot.

 

Their D is #25 over all but #31, at the bottom, vs the rush.

 

Vegas thinks it's gonna be a close game and they're getting big money on Indy and

then take everyone to cleaners when the Ravens win with their defense and their

offense keeping Luck off the field by pounding the rock.

Technically vegas thinks it's even steven, home team gets 3 points automatically, if Baltimore was the home team we'd be giving Indy 3 n a hook.

They had NE favored by I think a point and it has been bet to I think 4 points for Cincy. So really they spread is only what they think will get money put down on both sides of the line.

Vegas made a boat load of money making Colts 17 pt favs in SB 3. As Namath said after game, people

could have paid off their homes betting on the Jets. I'm sure some lost their homes taking the point

spread.

The point is, they're still making millions using the same system getting people to bet on

an obvious favorite while cleaning up when the other team wins or keeps it close to

not to beat the point spread which is why I never bet on anything where there are odds

makers. It's called odd for a reason.

They're using the same system. Just today the 5 top college teams including Oregon,

Oklahoma and Alabama lost after being favored by Vegas. Vegas made a fortune

with all those suckers betting on the favored team.

Vegas isn't really ;looking for taking money on loses. They want equal money paid on both sides of the spread. That is why the spread moves when money is dumped heavy on one side.
