papasmurfbell Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Justin Forsett was paid 730,000 for 2014, pretty sure that's vet minimum, I'd offer him a 2 year deal, total 3 million. What player wouldn't be happy with a 100% increase? The team that offers yr 3 and makes the whole deal $6-7.5 mil. Quote

rastaman831226 Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 Yahoo says Ravens FO says they want to keep Justin Forsett and Justin Forsett says he wants to stay a Raven. How many times in the past have we heard this. It seems the Justin Forsett negotiation tricks have already started. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 All players say it. It means nothing. 99% of the time it is only about the cash they are shown. Quote

Tornado700 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Personally, I hope we try very hard to keep Justin. Good tailback, rock solid football player, and all around class act. I agree he is a young 30 yrs. old and has one full year in our system. I think Ravens should take him on for a 2 yr. deal and grab another back in the draft. Whether he moves on to another team, that depends on the benjamins. Always does. We'll have to wait and see.. Quote
rastaman831226 Posted March 13, 2015 Author Posted March 13, 2015 Forsett resigns at a sizable increase in duckets. Glad I was wrong on this one. Quote
