BengalBilly Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 This event has the potential to literally shut down air travel in most European countries for an extended period of time. The last eruption of this volcano lasted two years, and if that happens again, it would cause huge economical damage to Europe's economy, and effect ours as well. This couldn't have happened at a worse time. Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Is it just me or is there some natural disaster type occurrence every week now? Quote

papasmurfbell Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 There are always natural disasters. The diference now is the movement of info. 100 yrs ago it would have been a little blurb in the paper now we can see video. Spain is trying to make out on this. They said people can fly in and out there and make their way to the rest of Europe from there. Quote
