papasmurfbell Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 Nobody downtown could not have helped.
dc. Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 It was a corporate decision - not a Baltimore decision. That place, like Hard Rock next to it, was always packed. Even with bad teams. And the harbor is still always packed. That's why the O's still get what little attendance they do - folks walking in from days downtown. Not the other way around. And tons of restaurants are already clamoring to lease the space.
Spen Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I am not seeing the logic of a national chain closing being somehow caused by the Orioles.
ForceEight Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I am not seeing the logic of a national chain closing being somehow caused by the Orioles. That's because you've overlooked the source of said "logic".
