thundercleetz
There is no way Richard Seymore would have returned a 1st round comp pick.Al Davis is no longer runs the Raiders, can't fleece them anymore.
papasmurfbell
There are a lot of team. Haslam has proven stupid. Detroit continues to make bad deals. It can be done if you try.

papasmurfbell
Not likely to get that high. But a 2nd could be had if you highlight him.

I doubt we could get a second round pick anyways.
papasmurfbell
You don't know until you try. I guess Washington and co were like I don't think we can win so lets just sit hear with tyranny.
thundercleetz
I agree, you definitely try. At the same time we don't know what happens behind the scenes. I think a lot more conversations happen than what we ever find out.

Losing constantly puts you in that mindset, they even had Urlacher on and even he said in his mid years on the bears that he considered retirement because the Bears were bad. TBird
Speaking of which, the injuries kept us out of the last 2 SBs. It took the bestQB and heach coach in the game and a lot ofcheating and trickery for NE to beat a banged up secondary with Melvinwho wasn't even playing football 3 weeks before and in NE and in Feb. Before this season started SI and Peter King predicted Ravens would win SB 50 because they had the most talent on paper. But what about next year. If Ravens draft, say Treadwell the best WR in thegame will he go down with an injury like Perriman this year and will Perriman come back next year. Back to Maxx, he'll be better next year and will bulk up as HARBs says.Just think of Maxx with the likes of Treadwell, Perriman and SR. Joe will have his weapons.
