Point number one is the only one that matters. We have to get touchdowns instead of field goals. The second half defensive yardage stats were great, but the defense was still in the bottom quarter of the league in the second half for points allowed.

The stats are a farce for defense. Rams- 32 in league passing, Jags-10th (surprising,), Browns-21st , Dolphins-19th, Chiefs -30th , SeaHawks-20theven the Bengals-15th all had no real threat at quarterback.

 

Add to that, the Ravens finished 18th in TOP, but the later part of the season, they took longer to snap the ball, helping to add to TOP, keeping the defense off the field.

 

The defense was 14th in the league in 3rd %, 40% bad....

and others. They never had their entire D together for the entire year.

So what. It helped. You're nit picking. Last year Rivers beat Ravens with quick snap counts before they were ready.

over 5700 yards gained, which leads us to #5 less rushing attempts ever by the Ravens.
