thundercleetz Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Legalize drugs next month and in 2 yrs that number is in the hundreds minimum.Good timing! http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/politics/blog/bal-amendment-would-put-the-right-to-smoke-grow-pot-in-state-constitution-20160229-story.html Leave it to the voters! Among the other bills on the agenda is Del. Dan K. Morhaim's proposal to treat possession of small amounts of other illegal drugs the same way state law has treated marijuana since decriminalization in 2014. The Baltimore County Democrat, a physician, has proposed to make possession of less than 10 grams of heroin, cocaine or other illegal drugs a civil offense punishable by fines. Quote
dc. Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Three thoughts: 1. Rating hardly changed, we've been top 25 always and top five among major cities forever... 2. The sooner is the last year has been crazy but very much bucking a trend the other direction, even if you add in police redistribution of crime stats... 3. The violence still overwhelmingly is happening in specific locations among specific populations. So again, what's really changed? Quote
