8/13/16: There has been some hype around Boulware, but sources say they aren't buying it. In preseason study, they say Boulware has not impressed them in terms of his athleticism and speed.

Boulware had 82 tackles with 3.5 sacks, seven passes broken up, three forced fumbles, and two interceptions last year. As a sophomore, he recorded 40 tackles with an interception and a sack.

So I think this is a guy that can be had mid draft. He really reminded me of Ray. He is not as athletic but he can sniff out the play. He has passion too. He can be that guy in the locker room who holds ppl to account.

Eh, I am not sure about this guy. I have seen him disappear in games because he was undersized. If he is 6 feet tall I must be 20 years old. I know, I know, heart matters more and he sure loves the game and loves to hit.

 

Buf his lack of speed & quickness will cost him in the NFL. 4th round sure, great special teams player. But he struggles in man to man, is decent in zone, nothing to write home about.

 

I would be happy to see him succeed on another team, let them tame the risk. This team has enough linebackers with heart, who can't cover amd disapper in games.

I am not saying a 1st. I am saying a 3rd at best. Also let CJ be the cover LB. Also having him drop weight could put him at a real thumper size for SS.

I understand what you meant, but even CJ can't cover, all he can do is blitz against smaller linemen..... They need a real inside backer who can cover.
