dc. Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 This game is exactly what they were afraid of when they instituted replay. How many were reviewed under 2:00 in the first half? 3? Second half? One, so far. Not to mention other challenges so far.
vmax Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Look...the whole game is a replay of last weeks game.
Spen Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 I was at the game, the last minutes of the first half were really really slow.
dc. Posted October 25, 2010 Author Posted October 25, 2010 We went to halftime about 20 minutes after every other game in the league. We went to OT a solid 30 minutes after every other game was over. Hell, we finished the game and many 4:15 games were in the 2nd quarter or pushing halftime!
geo Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Good thing though, they did eventually their job those dear zebras! I wonder if Buffalo agrees, likely not.
ForceEight Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Every replay resulted in a correct call, so there's not much to complain about. Replay did its job; there were just simply a lot of jobs to be done. Nothing you can do about that.
dc. Posted October 25, 2010 Author Posted October 25, 2010 But it's still not the way the game is supposed to happen. This is exactly what people worried about when they implemented it... what people worry about in baseball. It makes the game impossible to watch at times. And I actually disagreed with the first call on the Flacco fumble.
