They have had a couple of big misses in the first-round, such as Breshad Perriman and Matt Elam, but the bigger story should be their horrible hit-rate on day two of the draft (rounds two and three).Of the 17 day two selections, only seven of them are still on the Ravens’ roster. However, Brandon Williams is the only day two selection since 2012 that is still in Baltimore and not playing under his rookie contract. The other six are Orlando Brown Jr., Mark Andrews, Tyus Bowser, Tim Williams, Chris Wormley, and Maxx Williams. That number will likely shrink to six total players as Maxx Williams is set to be a free agent after this season, and given his lack of playing time and snaps, he is unlikely to receive a second contract with the Ravens. It is possible to play ‘Monday Morning GM.’ It is easy to pick out specific players they missed throughout the last seven drafts. Two of the more notable players they passed over are JuJu Smith-Schuster and Myles Jack, but every team in the NFL could go back to any draft and see which key players they passed up on.Despite missing on several impact players, the real concern for Baltimore is their hit percentage. Looking at these 17 players below, how many of them are difference makers? The short answer is not many as most of them did not receive a second contract, and some did not even finish their rookie deals in Baltimore. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 25, 2018 Author Posted November 25, 2018 Agreed. Amazing how bad most of those drafts were from 2012 to now. Quote
