Now that he can practice I think they should have given him a chance; we're not exactly overloaded with left guards.

He is always hurt. Better to get something than nothing with a cut.

Well, he had a pretty good rookie year if I remember and we're in pretty bad shape at LG now. Chances are they still might have gotten a 7th round conditional after one more week of practice. I do believe though that it's better to get something, even a 7th rounder, rather than nothing.

 

I just think the front office could have handled this a little better. Maybe I'm spoiled by all the good moves they've made in the off-season.
