Neither the Ravens nor the NFL would confirm it will be a fifth-round pick. But it was reported on Aug. 31 that the Ravens agreed to send a conditional fifth-round pick to the Seahawks. It could have improved to a fourth-round selection if Wilson started a particular number of games. Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome confirmed that Wilson didn't meet "the requirements for the condition to kick in." Wilson, who started nine games for the Ravens, is expected to become an unrestricted free agent when the new collective bargaining agreement is reached. In his first season with the Ravens, the former Maryland star showed great ball skills (15 passes broken up) and returned an interception for the game-winning touchdown at Houston. thundercleetz
Great trade. Wilson really played better as the season went on and he got used to playing in our defense. I really hope we can re-sign the hometown guy.
